Excellent hotel with the friendliest owner you’ve ever come across!
Extremely friendly and helpful owner, Liviu, who made sure our first experiences of Romania were as memorable as possible. Very proud of his beautiful town and his beautiful hotel, he’s a very good ambassador for his country and all it has to offer. And he has a very nice, hardworking team and an excellent receptionist. They happily called a taxi for us and Liviu even helped us to carry our bags!
Super-modern, ultra clean and very comfortable room with minibar, safe, and great aircon. Chocolates and two bottles of complimentary water were waiting for us. Comfortable bed.
Breakfast is a real delight: local specialties and a huge range of foods. Yoghurt, fruit, cake, omelette with cheese and ham, pastries… the list goes on and on. You are definitely not going to walk away hungry!
The hotel is just along the street from the citadel and about a 15 minute walk from the historic centre of town. Although there is a tram nearby, it’s easiest (and cheap) to catch a taxi or Bolt car from the train station.
