Avoid This Property at All Costs
A confirmed reservation should mean something, but apparently not here. You cannot rely on the host to honour your booking, and if problems arise, don't expect them to take responsibility or provide any real assistance.
Instead of treating guests fairly, we were pressured to cancel the reservation ourselves, which would have left us without the protections provided by Booking.com. After travelling a long distance and arriving in Bucharest, we were simply refused accommodation.
No one should have to spend their vacation desperately searching for a place to stay in a foreign country because a host decides not to respect a confirmed booking.
If you value reliability, honesty, and peace of mind, choose another property. There are many hosts who actually care about their guests—this is not one of them.

Avoid this property if you need reliable accommodation. A confirmed reservation here did not guarantee a place to stay.
Before arrival, the host repeatedly contacted us by phone and WhatsApp asking us to cancel the reservation ourselves instead of cancelling it through Booking.com. The explanations kept changing (water problems, the property closing, etc.), and most WhatsApp messages were later deleted.
Booking.com repeatedly confirmed that our reservation would be honoured and explicitly instructed us not to cancel it ourselves.
However, when we requested the check-in instructions on the day of arrival, the host refused to accommodate us.
As a result, four people were left without accommodation in a foreign country and spent hours contacting Booking.com, making international roaming calls and urgently finding replacement accommodation at a much higher price.
Booking.com ultimately relocated us, but resolving the financial consequences still required weeks of emails, bank statements and repeated follow-ups before compensation was finally issued.
What disappointed us most was not that a problem occurred, but the way it was handled. Instead of cancelling the reservation through Booking.com, the host repeatedly tried to persuade us to cancel it ourselves, provided different explanations and ultimately refused to honour the confirmed reservation only after we had already arrived in Bucharest.
Based on this experience, I cannot recommend this property. If your trip depends on reliable accommodation and a host who honours confirmed reservations, I strongly recommend choosing another property.
