Located on the Vaison la Romaine(13 km) Route, le Mogador château du Martinet is set in a verdant landscaped park. The Château features free Wi-Fi internet access and an outdoor swimming pool. the Mont Ventoux at 18 km ,Dentelles de Montmirail ,Gigondas ,Seguret at 5 km Decorated in a Napolean III style, each air-conditioned guest room has a seating area and a view of the garden. All the en suite rooms are fitted with antique furniture and equipped with a flat-screen TV with satellite channels. the piscine is open at Mai (largeur 10/20 m ) There is a very quiet road at night behind the castle. All suite rooms and cottages are facing the vineyard. Free private parking is available on site and Orange Train Station is 14 km away. The property is 20 km from Mont Ventoux and 35 km from Avignon Airport. Please inform le Mogador château du Martinet in advance of your expected arrival time. nous sommes désole mais n avons eu aucuns courrier de votre part et en plus nous sommes ferme depuis octobre 2020
si vous voulez nous envoyer un courrier mon email est chateaudumartinet@orange.fr avec toute les indications bien a vous nous attendons votre courrier êtes vous venus pour noter les services la propreté le rapport qualité prix

the lady in charge is lovely and most cooperative
I really recoment this place

juste pour vous donner les directives gouvernementales
pour la piscine elle est réservée aux clients des chambres d hôtes
si nous permettons que les clients du restaurant se baignent il nous faut avoir un maître nageur
ensuite oui tout le monde est propre mais les directives nous demandent que les hôtes prennent une douche avant d aller a piscine
vous auriez pu nous demander pourquoi et on vous aurez expliquer et montrer les directives
et aucun chien était dans la piscine mais au bord avec ses maîtres

just to give you the government guidelines
for the pool it is reserved for guest rooms
if we allow the customers of the restaurant to bathe we must have a lifeguard
then yes everyone is clean but the instructions ask us that the guests take a shower before going to a pool
you could have wondered why and we will explain and show you the guidelines
and no dog was in the pool but at the edge with his masters

Château stay in the countryside
Some minor downsides:
-Given the gorgeous building, some of the interior decor felt a bit shabby (although the style is quaint).
-The room had a musty smell. When we asked about thid, the staff seemed quite offended / defensive
-The WiFi was very poor. Although this wouldn't usually be an issue, we were very keen to watch England play in the World Cup quarter final! Again, the staff were quite defensive about this, simply insisting that the WiFi does work well, rather than apologising or trying to fix it.
Overall, this was a pleasant stay, and a very good dinner. However, we were slightly let down by a couple of quirks with the service.

nous sommes désolé pour la chambre c est a cause de la moquette
cette suite est refaite cette hiver
nous refaisons des chambres tous les ans
pour la wifi nous vous avons expliqué que ce n était pas un problème de wifi mais un problème de réseau et la nous ne pouvons intervenir
la connexion est très faible et la nous ne pouvons rien y faire
c est le plaisir de la campagne
