Lovely little hotel in a great location
Stayed here for 4 nights. The room was nice and plenty big enough for just me. Bed was comfy and the balcony was a nice plus. The shower was powerful but did make abit of a mess of the floor so had to use several towels. There is a small tv and a little table and chairs too but no tea or coffee facilities which would have been nice. Somebody said it can be abit dark so I did bring a torch but didn’t actually feel it was needed. The room was cleaned daily and the hotel itself was in a great location! 2 minutes walk to the nearest lift and surrounded by places to eat and drink.
The breakfast was basic, but nice. Eggs, bread, cheese, some cold meats and pastries but all were really nice and there was plenty. The restaurant is also great for an evening meal and made the best burger I’ve ever had!
All staff were friendly and the boot room was easily accessible and warm for my ski equipment.
Overall it was a lovely little hotel with everything I needed in a great location. I felt safe and welcome and it was nice and clean. I’d definitely stop here again.

Easter family trip with young teenagers. Great hotel.
A lovely hotel that is in a great location. Staff were great. Rooms comfy but the bed was a bit hard for my liking. Agree with some poor lighting and water splashing around the bathroom from the shower. Great quirky decor throughout. Ski lockers downstairs. Spa for kids guests is from 1100-noon. Over 16years old is til 5pm. Proper swim shorts (speedo type) are required. The family enjoyed the spa. Food was tasty. 3 course special board that changes every night. Or you can have the option of a set menu that you can mix up. Starters were soup, salad or meat platter. Mains were burger with fries, pesto pasta or spaghetti bol.
Dessert was ice cream or cheesboard.
I always had the specials board as I'm up for something different and it was generally tasty. Always filling. Served 1830-1930hrs for HB guests. Continental breakfast with fresh squeezed oj was divine. Eggs, ceral, meats, pastries etc from 0730hrs. Service was quick and attentive. Booked through Sunweb and we felt the hotel was good value. We would return. If I'm being picky, the room was hot even without the rad on, so the window was open at night and you could hear the late rabble coming away from the clubs. But it is central.
Dessert was ice cream or cheesboard.

Originality and culinary quality
It’s not in the catering section and that’s a shame, because if you’re looking for a good table in a warm atmosphere it’s the perfect place.
A 55€ menu that is part of the gastronomy with its mouthwatering dishes, the quality of the ingredients, the subtlety of the sauces (blueberries and breast) and accompaniments.
The wine list is not left out.
Thank you Fabien and his kitchen staff but it makes sense because he was already a culinary celebrity in the 2 Alps.

Great location and food, lovely staff. Bring a torch and a kettle for the room
Nearest way to the slopes: turn left out of the ski room, cross at the roundabout then head for the first magic carpet. This is a five minute walk. From the top of the magic carpet ski down to the Diable lift. Alternatively, take the small Poma just down and to the right of the magic carpet to go to the Jandri gondola.
WiFi: good free hotel WiFi and 5G reception.
Food: the restaurant is busy with non-residents. It has a fancy à la carte menu available to half board guests for an additional €18. We didn’t eat from this menu. Half board option with SunWeb is great value.
Half board food options: every day there is a set three course menu with one option per course. Each course was generally something tasty and quite fancy. Each day there is also another menu to pick from if the set menu isn’t to your liking and you can mix and match between the menus. This extra menu doesn’t change and has the same choice of three things for each course all week. This extra menu has starter: huge mixed salad, soup (usually carrot or vegetable) or cold meat platter; Main course: tagliatelle with Bolognese or creamy pesto, burger and chips; Dessert: two scoops of ice cream or sorbet, fruit salad, cheese cake. We didn’t try the cold meat platter or the cheesecake but everything else we tried and enjoyed.
Breakfast: good choice including fruit salad, cold meats and cheeses, sausage rolls, choice of cakes, sour dough baguettes, pastries and boiled eggs.
Bedrooms: no wardrobe but hangers and hooks and some cube storage. Very dim lighting: having been warned by other reviews, we came prepared with a light and torches which were needed. Cleaned daily with daily towel change. Well positioned sockets. No shower curtain so hard to avoid flooding the floor. Basic toiletries and hairdryer provided. Bring a kettle.
Spa: free to guests for an hour a day between 12 noon and 5pm. Two big hot tubs, steam room and sauna.
Staff: all lovely.
The only negative is the lack of somewhere other than the bar for guests. The hotel has no lounge and very few areas to play cards or socialise in without having a drink. We missed getting to know new people and exchanging stories from the slopes.

Great stay
I have just returned from chamois lodge after a one week stay with family (2 x 26 year olds and husband) we found the stay lovely transfer took about 2.5 hours from chambray airport - village is lovely loads going on - lodge is right in centre of village very cosy - rooms decent size although only issue was the rooms are very dark we had to use phone torch to find things we had dropped so more lighting would be good

Would have been nice to have had a kettle in room
Shower amazing and hot the only issue is the shower tray is not very long so the floor gets soaked so hand towels used to dry the floor each night

The only thing I found with this resort was the runs were quite challenging there are a lot of steep slopes even for blue runs but depends how good you are tbh
