Great personal service in center of town

Personal care and attention of the owners certainly made the difference here. A small hotel, with a restaurant and bar, right in the old city center of saint sever. Whilst the rooms are average, it was the personal care we so appreciated. Arriving late, the owner personally waited for us. With the restaurant already closed, owner made us a light bite and a glass of wine on the house. What more would you want after 30 hours of traveling. We enjoyed drinks on the terrace and the central location and would certainly love to be back here. Coffee, for french standards, was great to wake up with. Only french TV available though.

Horrible

Stay booked via Booking.com, arrived at the hotel where I was told it was full! No room for you.
No help to get this refunded, 40 minutes of phone calls with Booking.com and none of the 3 people apologized or showed the slightest compassion.
Unprofessional welcome and habit, still novices without any sense of business, too bad

Simple and practical

The hotel is located in the heart of the old town, by the historic church. I would not call it “romantic” as in the official TA description, but rather “simple, practical and friendly”. The rooms could need a renovation, but the staff is very friendly which made the stay pleasant for us.

Good value for the modest cost.

Busy bar/bistro right in the centre of town with some rooms at the back reached by a corridor. Rooms are small and basic and small but everything worked. There is no lounge space except the bar. Good value for the modest cost.

Pour une nuit lors d'une fête de famille

Fête de famille à Saint Sever. Unique hôtel de cette petite ville touristique pourtant.
Excellent accueil au téléphone et pour remise des clefs.
Chambre correcte propre. Sanitaires propres et WiFi, TV écran plat
Parfait pour 1 nuit ou plus pour visiter la ville.
