Stay with friends July 2/3, 2026

There were 14 of us. Everyone was happy with their stay. It is not a palace, but it is a very honest value for money located in a place steeped in history.
And in that regard, it is rare to have a hearty and high-quality French breakfast at this price.
Furthermore, what an environment: old stones, an abbey, the Quénécan forest, the Nantes-Brest canal, etc.!
Mr. Pochon may have a sense of humor that not everyone appreciates.

Hiking stop at the Abbey of good rest, nice

Beautiful stage in BrB, lots of character and authenticity. Great location for any type of hike: pedestrian, bike, horse. Open year round, the owner of the premises was present to welcome us and discuss. It allowed us to have breakfast in the kitchen of the place. Dinner at the pancake shop 350m open all year round. Very appreciated the price of the rooms. We're not looking for more, thank you.

A site with potential.

It’s not a luxury, but in the middle of January, after a day in the rain, we enjoy some rest.
It is not perfect, but the bed is comfortable. The laundry looks clean.
The room was ready when I arrived. I had to be alone. Not many travelers this season. The kitchen is also available (severe lack of thorough cleaning) I was able to warm my hot water for breakfast. In the evening I went to the local pancake shop.
The small bar is nice but watch out for the noise in high season because below the guest rooms.
A site with a lot of potential.

No one dishonest! To flee, to expose. A shame to welcome guests so badly.

Very dirty and a bad smell of turned milk or dead animal in the kitchen. We brought in the owner's son who felt there was a problem.
After one night, always the same, we decide to leave. The owner says he will refund us and reassure us by an email that summarizes the problem and his commitment. But since then, the gentleman has stopped answering his phone. He did not, of course, repay us the EUR 250 due.
To flee, for the dishonesty and unsanitary place!

Go your way!

You can't put zero...Good rest...or not! We rejoiced to be able to enjoy an exceptional and quiet setting after our afternoon, it was total disillusionment. No welcome worthy of the name. When we arrived, the person left and told us that the room was ready and we could go. The person did not come to see us afterwards. The room was dirty: unemptied garbage can in the bathroom, dirty toilet (traces at the bottom of the bowl), unwashed bathtub, cobwebs and spiders on the ceiling, dust. No towel available to us (luckily we had some). No products provided for shower. And the worst: the bar below our room that literally kept us up. Full music and people talking until 1:30 in the morning. It was very hot, we could not open because the noise was unbearable... cottage or bar you have to choose! Alarm clock again to music with chair noises. We had breakfast...a disaster: 1 chocolate bread and 1 croissant for two, bread not fresh, coffee frankly not good...very little quantity while we went hiking for more than 20 kilometers... as much not to offer this service. The gentleman is frankly not kind. We had just seen the booking rating which is way too high, if we had looked at the google reviews, we would not have made a step here. We definitely do not recommend. These people are here to do business but are not real hosts. RUN AWAY!
