This is a beautiful hotel with old world charm. The furnishings are lovely, and the downstairs dining room and lounge are exquisite and cozy. The rooms include a mini bar, which we always appreciate.

I stayed at this hotel last week, August 2026. Hotel is pretty but not clean by any means. Old and dusty with horrible breakfast. I left something on my bed and when I returned it was gone. Giving them the benefit of doubt, I told them its possible cleaning took it when they took the sheets on accident. First they were pretending to be helpful and said they would look but when I followed up I was told a different story. They took no responsibility for the item being removed from my room. Bathroom is filthy and carpet smells like pee. No shower doors and hotel is a mess. Unfriendly staff which we were willing to overlook but items shouldn't go missing!

Regarding the missing item, we would like to clarify what happened. As soon as you informed us that a small white bag was missing, our team immediately looked into the matter. As we explained at the time, it was possible that the bag had inadvertently been left inside the bed linens when the room was serviced. As the linens had already been collected and sent to our external laundry company, we promptly contacted them and asked them to check for the item. Unfortunately, despite their efforts, the bag could not be found.
We fully understand how frustrating it is to lose a personal belonging, and we genuinely regret that we were unable to recover it. However, we would like to emphasize that our team did make every effort to investigate the matter and assist you as soon as it was brought to our attention.
We were also quite surprised by some of your comments regarding the condition of the room and bathroom. During your stay, these concerns were not brought to our attention at any time. Had you mentioned that you found the bathroom or carpet to be unsatisfactory, we would have been more than happy to inspect the room immediately and take the appropriate measures to address any issue. This is precisely why we always encourage our guests to let us know during their stay if something does not meet their expectations, as we have the opportunity to act upon it.
Regarding breakfast, we are particularly sorry that you described it as "horrible." We fully respect that breakfast preferences are subjective, but we would have appreciated more details about what specifically disappointed you. The large majority of our guests are satisfied with the breakfast we offer, and we regularly receive positive feedback about it. Had you shared with us during your stay which aspects you found unsatisfactory, this would have given us valuable information that we could have taken into consideration to improve our offering.
We are equally sorry to hear that you perceived our staff as unfriendly. Providing a warm, welcoming and helpful service is very important to us, and we regret that this was not your impression.
We take all feedback seriously, including criticism, as it helps us identify areas where we can improve. At the same time, we believe that the best way to resolve any concern is to have the opportunity to address it while the guest is still staying with us.
We regret that your overall experience did not reflect the standards we strive to maintain, and we hope that you will consider giving us another opportunity in the future to provide you with a more positive experience.

Too authentic.
Was for authentic Paris - definitely this is it. We didn’t love it though. It was clean but just too authentic for us. Location is great though and front staff were super kind.

We had a very large room especially for Paris standards and loved the super old school Parisian decorating. Breakfast is expensive though
