Charming English-styled gem

If you are searching for a charming B & B, look no further than this hidden English-styled gem tucked into the heart of the town. Lovely host Roger and hostess Marie welcomed us into their love of labor home, a seamless blend of English cozy comfort and French rustic style.
The Atmosphere:
Soft pastel tones, antique whitewashed furniture, fresh flowers from the garden—a true “vintage English” lover's paradise.
The Room
We stayed in a lovely suite with a window opening to a view of tiled rooftops and a church spire. Our private bath was immaculate with a window opening to the spacious garden below. It felt like stepping into a romantic novel, yet with all modern comforts (sparkling clean bathrooms, Wi-Fi)
The Hospitality & Breakfast
The hosts are simply wonderful—gracious, attentive, and filled with local knowledge. A delicious breakfast is served in a charming, dining area, accompanied by Roger’s fun, upbeat playlist playing softly in the background.
Location
Situated in a quiet street, but just a two-minute walk to the main square and a few minutes more the picturesque old bridge and river, you have the best of both worlds: peace and proximity.
Highlights: Expansive garden, charming rooms, and a very warm welcome.
Recommended for couples and solo travelers looking for a magical English-French experience.

Just stunning

A truly stunning house, incredible attention to detail, we were greeted by the lovely owners Marie and Roger who couldn’t do enough for us. Our bedroom was large and airy, beautifully decorated and spotless. The bed was very comfortable as were the pillows. The bathroom was huge with a lovely assortment of toiletries. The breakfast room was a delight the breakfast itself beautiful. All in all a real special find

Bed & Breakfast with undeniable charm. A very friendly welcome from the hosts. Very cosy atmosphere with a wonderful little garden. Rooms with a beautiful decoration. Great location in the city center while being very quiet. Highly recommended.

A Secret Garden

We stayed at the Angel Tree on our way down to the South of France and were delighted with our discovery. A beautiful and ancient town house with a wonderful garden. Our room was extremely comfortable and our breakfast delicious. Marie and Roger were charming hosts and we hope to have the opportunity to stay with them again.

Perfect Oasis

A hidden gem, right in the centre of town. Filled with charm, flair and genuine warmth, Marie and Roger are perfect hosts and their home is a little oasis. We stayed in the garden room for a couple of nights, which was spacious and beautifully furnished. Breakfast was generous and delicious - fresh patisserie, fruits and hot coffee. We'll definitely return and stay longer next time so we can take advantage of the lovely pool and enjoy the peace of the amazing garden. Montmorillon is a great town with lots to do and see, and also the perfect base for exploring further afield. Thank you Marie for a perfect stay and your warm welcome :))
