Cool, Modern, Amazing Staff, Pet Friendly, Great location and great AC

You will likely love this hotel as much as I do. The staff are amazing, multi-lingual, beyond helpful, interested and engaged . They were very welcoming to pets. The hotel is clean and super modern, with excellent AC, which you absolutely need (and is sometimes hit or miss in France). WIFI was great. Breakfast was good, and the outdoor seating area is like a little garden. I was on the top floor, over looking the ocean, but I've stayed in another room and they are all really cool with great views. Good noise reduction windows. The location is amazing as well because you are ~7 min from restaurants, across the street from the beach, but just enough away from everything to make it slightly easier to navigate. There is also a Super U across the street. You are also a 15 min walk to Italy. How cool is that? Parking can be tricky but they will help you. You can't go wrong here. Highly recommended.

Front/reception staff really good, bar service poor with just one person doing multiple things.
Issues with my air con and the English channels didn't work on the TV. Room needed some TLC!

Excellent

Everything perfect: from the cleanliness of the rooms, to the courtesy of the staff and the efficiency of the facility. Optimal location between the sea and the center, staff that speaks Italian, French, English and Spanish consistently and excellent services offered (for example, they offer mats for both the sea and pool every day for free). We also tried their cuisine, both for lunch and for breakfast, and we had a great time (the chèvre chaud salad is recommended, delicious). Totally recommended!

Great hotel in every way!

Hotel Napoleon is highly recommended if you want to discover the Cote Azur. The location of the hotel is ideal: across the street the beach, 10 minutes from the center, close to nice restaurants, and 10 minutes from the Menton Garavan train station. From there you can go either way!
The rooms are neat and clean! The entire ground floor including the pool area has recently been renewed and really very beautiful!
But the staff at Hotel Napoleon makes this hotel deserve an A. Everyone is extremely friendly and happy to share tips about the area.
Thank you so much for our nice stay last week! We even regretted that we had to go to the next destination. If I ever go back to Menton I will stay here again.

We had a beautiful seaview room with a balcony. The room was clean and nicely decorated. The front desk staff and waitstaff were friendly and helpful. The breakfast was delicious, We enjoyed pool with the heatwave that France was experiencing. It was too far to walk to the restaurants with temperatures between 85°-90°. The furniture on the balcony needs to be refreshed or replaced. We did have an issue with the bathroom door, it was difficult to close and the toilet running until you jiggled the handle. We did reported it to the front desk but it was not fixed during the next 3 days. That said, we would stay there again.
