A beautiful chateau stay

Our second visit to this lovely chateau B&B, which also offers evening meals on request. A stunning, peaceful location, lovely, welcoming owners. Our room was spotlessly clean and so comfortable. We highly recommend and will return.

Very welcoming place

After the terrible experience at the Puits Fortifié, not far away, this was a very pleasant surprise.
I was welcomed my Mary, who owns this castle together with her husband. I was shown around we had a nice talk, I was invited for an excellent but simple dinner and we watched football together.
The suggested to make the place a stop over for the Via Flaminia rally which I am organizing in the region.
I can recommend this hotels fullhartedly.

A wonderful stay...

A wonderful stay at Chateau de Mauvilly owned by the most charming/fun couple for one night (only). It's an Historic monument and we were given a guided tour by Marie the owner which was fun and informative. Our room was large with a very comfortable bed, and the bathroom was spotless. Aperitifs in the salon, and dinner in the kitchen was delicious, all prepared by Brigitte - it was perfect. Excellent night's sleep and a typical French breakfast . Would we go again - most certainly...but for longer. Merci à toute l'équipe. Great stay!

Excellent castle hotel

A wonderful hotel! Beautifully restored, cozy, very clean, extremely quiet and you get a warm welcome.
We'll go back there anytime!!!
Due to a technical error, the old website "Chateau Mauvilly.com" states that the castle is no longer open!
This is not correct -> see new website
"Chateau de Mauvilly.fr"

A very special place!

We spent a week here and loved every minute! The chateau had such a gentle, laid back atmosphere and the grounds were beautiful. The meals in the evening were just delicious and our hosts both charming and helpful. Cannot recommend it enough!
