SUPERB HOTEL AND FRIENDLY STAFF BUT 1 NEGATIVE POINT NO SHOWER

Superb Welcoming in this hotel near CHOLET and not far from the PUY DU FOU.
Nice decoration. Clean and very well equipped room. Excellent bedding.
Hearty breakfast.
Big black dot no shower but a small bathtub not practical at all for people of a certain age. That's a shame.

Average experience.

I stayed at this hotel with my parents. Rather mediocre experience. I am used to staying in hotels, and I can tell you that there are a few things to review. The room was tiny, while there was a group by the garden. We were by the roadside, with constant traffic. Fortunately, we were used to the sounds of the city. We were with our cat, which was somewhat inconvenient. In the bathroom, under the sink, there was a hole. Our cat went in there, but since we did not know where it led, we had to retrieve him and close off the access for the night. Then, we went down the next morning for breakfast. The buffet was moderately stocked, and the applesauce was apparently past its prime because it was sour in the mouth. We were supposed to stay for two nights, but after that, we left earlier than planned. In short, if you stay there in an emergency, it is acceptable, but if you expect a higher experience with a long family stay, look elsewhere. Hotels like Mercure or Novotel are much more cost-effective.

Very nice staff

Defective air conditioning. Very noisy hotel. Average breakfast. Very nice staff.

Hotel not clean

Hotel that deserves a good cleaning of funds, interior and exterior
The room smells bad
The staff is friendly and welcoming
Normally ibis style is better than that
We went there for a stage night we would not stay several nights
Decent breakfast
Large free parking

An unpleasant night receptionist

The rooms are clean and spacious. The bedding is comfortable.
Breakfast is hearty and varied A little extra would be the provision of trays for breakfast.
Big negative the Welcoming of the Night Receptionist! We arrived at 00:50, Receptionist not at Welcoming, it arrives after a few minutes waiting. Barely a hello, he asks us if we are part of the group (There were 4/5 people behind us). No, we're just a family of 2 adults with a young child... Too bad for us... He tells us to wait to put the "group" before us... A group of 50 people!!! Once the group passed, we let him know our dissatisfaction... He answers, I was going to buy you a drink! Of course!! with a child falling asleep, we ourselves were exhausted. He puts us the key to our room on the counter without any explanation on how to reach our room, or on breakfast the next day... With so little Explanation and Service, I don't see why you put a band before us... Maybe profit?? This person was really unpleasant! What was our surprise when we left the hotel! 1.40€ of tourist taxes to pay... This receptionist was ready to offer us a drink at 1am but on the other hand leaves it to his colleague (who was much more smiling and pleasant!) to make us pay 1.40€?!
