Good Stall in Carcassone

Very friendly Owner, hearty breakfast. As a cyclist, one can use the garage nearby.
Ideal: the proximity to the medieval city and the view of the city (if you have a room overlooking the street)
Only downside: arrival cannot be before 5pm, it has been a long day, especially in summer.

Good rest

Very friendly place in which we stayed one night on return from vacation and before returning home. Very relaxing with a very nice boss. We slept with the children in the same room and without any worries. Breakfast very well served in which we were able to exchange some discussions with the same boss. I highly recommend for couple or family

Highly recommended

We spent a night in the chambre florentine, third floor which has a terrace with stunning views of the city, everything was perfect from cleanliness, location, breakfast everything about and very helpful owner we had a great time, highly recommender

A great place to stay

This was a beautiful little place to stay,ideally situated to explore the whole of carcassonne. Frederick was a superb host and made us feel very welcome ensuring we could stay cool during the exceptional heatwave. The rooms are good and the roof top room gives breath taking views where we old sit late evening and admire the city walls.

Frederick's fantastic Florentines!

We stayed in Les Florentines for four nights at end of August 2023. The weather was amazing which meant we were able to take advantage of the two terraces that our attic room offered (as well as enjoying the air conditioned room when it got a little too hot for us (42C one day)).
The front terrace overlooks the citadel walls (as so many others have shown on their photographs) and the other overlooks the city behind.
Frederick was a wonderful host and made us feel so welcome. He made breakfast for us each morning, which was a superb selection of fruits, yogurt, breads, croissants, charcuterie and cheeses, coffee and fruit juice. He also gave us a delicious bottle of fizz on our first afternoon to enjoy on the terrace and arranged our taxi for the trip back to the airport.
Les Florentines is simple to find, just 20 euros or so in a taxi from Carcassonne airport and it is a very short walk either to the citadel in one direction or to the newer part of town across old bridge.
We had a fabulous break with friends who travelled from another part of the UK and met up with us in Carcassonne. Us having the terrace room meant that we could all spend time together outside sampling some of the delicious local wine and beer.
There are plenty of good restaurants on Rue Trivalle. Frederick gave us some excellent recommendations locally as well as inside the old city walls. Highly recommended hotel for a stay in Carcassonne, thanks Frederick!
