Magnificent

Magnificent stay at the castle largely thanks to Mickael, whose welcome and service are simply perfect! Idyllic place surrounded by nature that makes you lose track of time.

What happiness at the Castle of Cachart in the footsteps of Bonaparte

Beautiful place in the Ardèche mountains. Superb restored chapel. Bruno Catalano's sculptures that adorn the gardens bring to life the historic buildings we love. We dine with a view of the property where deer walk at sunset. Mickaël's cooking is at the level of its Welcoming simply delicious.

Week-end domaine Cachard

We are still trying to detect any flaws at this idyllic weekend spent at Domaine de Cachard. The cuisine was exquisitely succulent, and we enjoyed a most relaxing stay, enjoying almost absolute tranquility within the estate. A special mention to Mickael, who showed hospitality exceeding our highest expectations. We would like to express our deep gratitude to the entire team for their warm and attentive Welcoming.

Country house atmosphere in a luxury castle amidst the Ardèche hills

Second stay of a few days in this superb castle in Ardèche restored by a property owner passionate about beautiful stones and beautiful cars
Superb estate of 70 ha, animals free in the woods: sheep, deer and wild boars who come to greet guests. Quality services both in the rooms and in the restaurant. As such, special mention to Chef Mickael who is caring with his guests. Choice cuisine , quality products and inventiveness!
Country house or family atmosphere. Must see!

THE LITTLE HOUSE ON THE PRAIRIE

No, the title is a joke!!!
Although in the middle of nowhere in nature generously tamed by gardeners, it is not a small house. It is an enormous castle and its outbuildings admirably restored, in my opinion, by an AESTHETE probably follower of a sect of worship of formal Beauty and refinement.
The difficult transformation of old walls into elegant and functional homes was carried out with mastery.
I loved this place and its environment... several hectares where animals roam freely (I saw a herd of deer while going to have breakfast).
My big regret was coming here as an evening stopover on a day of enormous and incessant rain: a pure waste! Especially since to get there you have to take a fairly long winding road...
Despite this, I remain fascinated by this place because in addition to everything I have mentioned, it revealed to me an outstanding personality: MICHAEL, the person in charge of the house, a sort of Shiva with many arms... A boy versatile, as talented by his infinitely kind nature as by his skills.
We dined as well as in a starred restaurant served by this waiter who I would describe as a RARE PEARL.
With hindsight I consider that it is as essential to this castle as the sumptuousness of the environment.
A small downside: the television screens are too small compared to the size of the rooms. And telephone coverage is non-existent but in such a pleasant place it’s also good for the phone to be silent!
