Meals with friends.
We were a group of 20 people.
Aperitif on the terrace, very nice with a great selection of appetizers. It is definitely worth an entry!!! Jocelyne, as usual, brought us great joy, just like Georges did.
The meal was perfect. Monkfish fillet with champagne - small vegetables and a strawberry variation. Excellent!
Top choice of wines.
I recommend it 100%.

If you need a bed in Vouziers...
As others have noted the rooms are basic.
Pros: The room was clean. I requested a room adapted fo the mobility handicapped (I use a walker.) They gave me a room on the ground floor, just a few doors from the lobby and breakfast room. The room has a window that opens to admit fresh air. It has a radiator that provides adequate heat or you can turn it off. I had a double bed. There was only one pillow provided (probably you can ask for more...) The bathroom had a roll-in shower, a bench and a handheld shower wand. The water pressure was adequate and there was plenty of hot water. There is a small flat television mounted on the wall.The room had a convenient plug to use for charging electronics. The wifi is free and worked OK.
Cons: The room had an overwhelming odor of mint when I entered. There is an air freshener with scented sticks above the closet. Luckily the window opens so I was able to diminish the mint scent. The lack of pillows was a problem for me as I need 2-3 in order to be comfortable. The staff are very friendly so no doubt they would have provided me with extras if I had asked. I used my jacket and a sweater as pillows.
Highlights: The breakfast was very good. There is an assortment of breads including pain au chocolate and fresh croissants. Cereals, hard boiled eggs, yogurts and fruit is available. The jams and preserves were a treat -- they appeared to be homemade. Butter, Nutella, honey, cheeses and deli meats were also offered. The coffee was excellent. They also provide an assortment of teas.
There is a restaurant in the hotel. It is worth the visit just to eat in the restaurant. The menu is extensive. Every dish that I tried was excellent.
In short, this is a small hotel and not the Ritz. However, the staff are friendly, the room adequate and clean, and the food is great. If you want or need to stay in Vouziers I recommend the Argonne.

Diner for 20 people
The Argonne hotel is very friendly and very responsive to all queries with nice smile.
The dining room located in the veranda is a very pleasant place for large table filled with friends.
