Nice campsite
Very nice, lush campsite, modern and very clean restrooms, superb pool and jacuzzi. Small, very cute restaurant with a simple but nice menu + not bad pizzas, bread and pastry delivery in the morning with reservation the day before. Theme nights and a concert on the Thursday we were there; a very nice band that knows how to create a great atmosphere. Note that the restaurant is not open for lunch. Pleasant welcome. 3 downsides: the unbearable mosquitoes, the black dirt on the ground is a disaster, and the reception is closed between noon and 2:30 PM in the middle of the season!!!!

Regeneration
An arrival with a very pleasant welcome and a lovely smile.
The campsite is quiet and soothing in a very lush setting between Mediterranean and tropical. The sumptuous hot tub, sheltered by a magnificent, beautifully timbered structure, gives an Asian feel to this part of the campsite, which is very soothing for spending several hours of relaxation.
Thank you for this lovely moment of rest.

Very nice campsite
The mobile homes are furnished with covered and intimate terrace + another terrace solarium style with wooden armchair
All surrounded by lush and varied vegetation: a true Amazonian forest in the heart of the Landes!
Very wooded campsite, furnished with great taste
Campsite also small scale, ideal for local meetings
Warm and kind welcome
I highly recommend to people who wish to visit the Arcachon basin in peace and shade!

Beautiful campsite but some points to review
The campsite is very beautiful and has an excellent geographical location. We had rented a cabin for 4 people, occupied by 2, and it was well arranged and properly equipped. The terrace, of suitable size, has practical curtains to protect against wind and rain. Too bad, however, that they were obviously not cleaned all season, which did not make you want to handle them.
The surrounding vegetation, very dense, must be an asset in the middle of summer, but mid-September it makes the place dark, wet and cold. Mosquitoes, omnipresent and particularly aggressive, make the stay difficult, because it is impossible to get rid of them. Another inconvenience is the acorns that fall continuously on the tin roof of the cabin: the noise is constant and annoying.
As for the campsite staff, perhaps they are warm in the middle of the season, but during our 10 days we had no exchange, not even a simple hello. Fortunately, the other holidaymakers were more welcoming.
In summary, this campsite can probably be pleasant in the middle of summer, but I will not go back.

Not a site we will be visiting again
We arrived on site towing a large caravan with our son and partner following behind in a car. The entrance was very small with no where to park so I was forced to park outside the reception blocking the entrance. A young lady from the reception was extremely rude and condescending in her attitude and was more interested in moving us than any sort of welcome to the site. We were given a poor photocopy of the site and dismissed to find our pitch when she dealt with our son.
The pitch numbers were not clearly visible and we were forced to leave the site to turn around to find our pitch again. The same person said we need to slow down this time which we all felt was very patronising and unhelpful in the situation.
We have been visiting France for over 30 years and I have never experienced such poor customer care and if we had not paid upfront we would have turned around and left this site.
Our allocated pitch was small and right next to a large mobile home which blocked out some light. It was very dusty with soil and pine needles from the overhead trees. and was very difficult to keep clean.
The nearby toilet block was adequate but no toilet paper or soap dispenser were available which was surprising given the price to stay on this site.
The chemical toilet was very poorly sited between 2 pitches and the campervan water emptying area was in a similar position with no way of turning a large motor home around should the need arise.
The whole site felt to cramped with very little open space and maximising the number of pitches.
I could go on but in all our visits to France this site has to be the worse we have encountered and we will definitely not visit it again. It would appear from reading other reviews we are not the only persons complaining about a young lady working on reception whose attitude left a lasting negative impression on this site.
