Warm place

Good and local meals
Discreet and attentive staff
We had the chance to come on a night when there were few people which made the meal even more intimate

Auberge du Farwest

At the front desk, a lady with hair in front of her eyes and jeans. I settle down and another waitress still in jeans carries me the cards.
She is friendly but very relaxed.
I eat a nice rib 100% Gold Coast, good meat and nice cooking with fries of course.The restaurant room is sad, the decoration of Easter is still current. The wine is very good Savigny-lès-Beaune 2022.
The outfit of the two waitresses is very neglected, I just have a cheese.
The note is a bit salty but confirmed by the quality of the wine. Maybe I'll go back when the bosses show up.

Cross between 19 century and 1970's

My husband booked this hotel for one night on our way down to the South of France. The rooms were very dated lino on the floor which had been cut out around the radiator where there had obviously been a leak. The wallpaper was fabric with bit missing with patches of a different material put in around the light socket. The bath's enamel had worn off, which had a shower attachment which again had seen better days, and how you would use without soaking the whole bathroom I don't know. The panelling around the both was covered in black mould. The toilet had brown stains in the bottom of the pan. The bed was four poster but was three foot off the ground a full gymnastic routine was necessary to get in and out of the bed being only 5ft 3". The mattress didn't fill the bed. The bedding was clean.
didn't do a full "Three in the bed" inspection as we had to stay, it was that or the car, and I was already very unhappy.

Very nice experience

Very nice experience at Auberge Le Renard’Eau.
The setting is warm and full of charm, typical of a real hostel where you feel good on arrival.
The dishes are generous, tasty and well-cooked, with good produce and masterful traditional cuisine.
The service is welcoming, attentive and pleasant, which makes the moment even more pleasant.
An address I recommend without hesitation during a visit to Bèze.

Big disappointment

second visit to the restaurant very disappointed, tasteless sauce with the desert fondue floating island that looks like nothing, only the bison bib not bad yet only for the shallot sauce finally short to say everything big addition for a big disappointment.
