Lovely accommodation, beautiful countryside, tasty food

We stayed in the gite at La Garnasette for a wonderful week. The food was excellent - we are vegans and were vey well catered for. It is set in beautiful countryside, off the beaten track but close enough to villages and lovely walks. Lidy is a wonderful host. Highly recommended.

Excellent

As a family, 2 very decent rooms, clean, fresh, slept well, very generous breakfasts, very friendly and very professional welcome, thanks to the very friendly owner. I recommend without moderation go there, guaranteed rest..

Memorable stay

We had a brilliant time at Lidy and Welhelm's place, a hidden gem. The hosts were extremely warm and they ensured we had an exceptional experience. The food prepared by Lidy was "lecker", we got treated to a 4 course meal. They took us to Le Puy, a city which was a revelation to us, told us about the places to visit and guided us to a great vegetarian restaurant. They made sure that we were comfortable as one is in his own place. Will surely recommend for a getaway from a busy schedule.

Good for a rustic stay with good veggie food and great company

My wife and I visited in late July 2016. As vegetarians we were looking forward to the stay for months. The owners were very helpful. The accommodation is a tad rustic. The evening began with a pre-dinner drink. This allowed the assembled guests a little time to introduce themselves. Our fellow guests were Dutch and French speakers; this added to the experience. The four course meal was simple and wholesome and included wine and a tea or coffee to round the evening off. Breakfast was plentiful. Overall a positive experience.

Peace, quiet, excellent food and company!

We were only able to stay for three nights, but I wish it would have been longer! We hiked on some great trails for a couple of days and enjoyed the peaceful countryside. Breakfasts were filling, the picnic lunches were great and the dinners fabulous. It was a great time meeting other guests and the owners were so nice and easy to talk to.
