Charming

Lovely hotel in a beautiful building. Rooms are characterful, tastefully decorated. Beautiful terrasse to enjoy breakfast. What really makes the stay special is the charming hostess who welcomes you warmly and cares about every detail.

Lovely

Great find. Stayed here with my nephew when we attended Guitaire festival. Great find. Friendly welcome from Delphine. English not a problem. Lovely rooms in a beautiful building. Breakfast was excellent. Fantastic location for visiting Albi. Really recommend for a relaxing stay

Wonderful! Surprise!

This property has a few apartments for rent.
It is located in a small street of the old town, just off a main street, within a few walking minutes from the cathedral.
Once you turn into the street, it is the door in front of you. You cannot stopo there. Turn left and imeediatley right. You can stop for a short time in a smal square (about 20 meters from the door). The receptionist will explain where to find a nearby parking place.
The room was surprisingly big and very nicely furnished and decorated.
Booking.com stated: electrical kettle but no kitchenette. Nevertheless, they did provide a refrigerator, microwave and some cutlery.
Breakfast was included and was prepared by the receptionist, Delphine.
Delphine was the highlight of the stay. A very nice young woman who speaks good English and some Japanese. She enjoys talking with the guests and hera about their home countries. When we checked in, she asked at what time did we want breakfast and if we want a soft egg. The breakfast was abundant and excellent.
Apart from the room, we greatly enjoyed our talk with Delphine.
She also gave us a small map of Albi with the recommended walking tours, which are worthwhile, as Albi boasts wonderful views and is a very pleasant city.

Help for anyone going here.

Parking has been mentioned. Parking opposite the road is pay at the top and free in the bottom of the car park , even though looks like one big car park. The place itself is excellent and breakfast was very good. Plus it is in the centre and Albi. Difficult to find but I would suggest parking in the cathedral car park (free section) and walking to the Maison. It is on the narrow cobbled streets (maze of roads) that are difficult to navigate. The Maison is less than 100m from the car park. Really nice restaurant 200 yards away. Le Clos Sainte Cécile. Go and enjoy . I did .

Lovely stay

Stayed for a night over last weekend as part of a short break with my wife. It’s an amazing building with beautifully decorated and furnished rooms, lots of space and real character. Gisele the owner was warm and kind and don’t mind our terrible French at all. I’d thoroughly recommend this place to anyone especially a couple who want a treat and a bit of peace and quiet
