Good choice for a few day stay

Small motel very close to railway station. Motel is surrounded by a forest and has small garden with a pool. Room and bathroom were clean with a new furniture. However, walls are very thin. Brakfest was very basic but fine. Town centre is on opposite side of the river Vistula, some 20 minutes by foot.

Near the station, far from the old town.

The Tower Motel is only a few metres from Torun's main rail station, but a long (20 min?) walk over the river to the old town.
Staff are courteous, cooperative and helpful. Rooms are spacious, clean and comfortable, breakfast was adequate.
Some of the building would benefit from an update, but the well worn condition, somehow added to the hotel's charm.
Overall I would consider returning, as the Tower Motel offers clean affordable accommodation with helpful staff,

Terrible experience, I do not reccomend this place!

My experience with Motel Tower is awfull and sad. We came to Torun 4 people by car from Slovakia, sharing one big room for 4 ppl. After few nights our bodies got covered with red spots – bites from some INSECT, and all of us were scretching as crazy all the time!! We could actually feel the animals moving under our clothes when it was dark! When we informed the manager about this big issue his attitude was just unbelievable. He was rude and arrogant towards me. He said that if we have some insect in the room its because we came to Poland probably by train and caught it there! Next morning they moved us to other 2 double rooms and promised to call hygienic control to check the place. Apparently moving us to different rooms did not help because we continued having more and more new bites! My hands were completely swollen from so many bites! so at the 7th day of our stay I visited a doctor in Torun who also confirmed it was some sort of bites from insect! And as long as we know, since they moved us to the room next door of the first one, we haven´t seen anybody to come from hygiene to check this place!

Adequate hotel, good location for train transport

It is 1 minute across from the train station. Buses that go to town also stop at the station. The hotel itself is adequate; no frills, just a bar of soap. The bathroom seems newly renovated and clean. The rest of the room is clean and comfortable with adequate space.
The staff was not good with information and assistance although she spoke English. There isn't much other facilities.

Nie polecam

Nie polecam tego motelu. Już od wejścia widać, że miejsce nie dba o czystość – brudna wykładzina,kurze na meblach. Kabina prysznicowa była zepsuta i niekompletna, co znacząco utrudniało korzystanie z łazienki, a deska sedesowa odpadała przy każdym użyciu, co jest nie tylko irytujące, ale i niehigieniczne. połamane łóżko.
Restauracja to również pomyłka!
To miejsce nie spełnia podstawowych standardów, dlatego gorąco odradzam pobyt w tym motelu.
