Perfect stay!
We stayed here for one night after visiting Lodz. This hotel was perfect-just a few kilometers from Lodz, very reasonably priced with lots of free parking and beautifully landscaped property. The hotel is quite new and the room was large, well equipped and modern. The free buffet breakfast was very good with a lot of choice . The wifi was fine-no issues. There was a wedding going on when we were there so it was a bit noisy but they shut it down fairly early so it wasn't an issue for us. Would definitely recommend it if you have a car and want a more reasonably priced option to Lodz hotels.

Fantastic hotel
We were invited to a wedding and had the hotel pre-booked by our hosts. The hotel is located out of the city. The reception staff were very welcoming and we checked in very quickly. We then went straight to the adjoining restaurant. The menu was excellent with a large variety of food. The staff were very helpful in telling us what was traditional Polish food and what the ingredients were. Although we had a language barrier, they were quick to use Google translate and it became an entertaining evening between us and the friendly staff.
The hotel is not a UK three star. It is undervalued and I think it should be regarded as a 4 star. It's spotlessly clean, well decorated, air conditioned rooms, well able to cater for very large groups and multiple events. The gardens are beautifully maintained and the outside furniture was cleaned daily ready for use. Our room had an iron, hair dryer, tv etc. It was large, modern and spacious.
Breakfast was a buffet style and had a good variety.
This hotel is child friendly with a lovely play area and disabled friendly with lifts etc.
I'd highly recommend this hotel, I honestly can't think of anything negative to say about it.

A lovely place
We have stayed one one night at Czarny Staw but it is enough to tell you something about the hotel:
1. A spacious parking is definitely a big advantage. Whenever you come , you will definitely find a free space to park a car of any size. Besides, it is free.
2. The hotel looks absolutely fresh as if it has been opened a month ago. All is clean, bright and even smells as a new one.
3. The staff speaks perfect English, very polite, helpful and always smiling. Well, I really liked it :)
4. The rooms are fantastic. Frankly speaking, it is on the good chain level as Hampton or Marriott. All is made according to the highest international standards and the quantity and the positions of the sockets are unbelievable: they are everywhere and exactly where you need them. You know, that it is a big problem in some hotels.
5. The bathroom is same fantastic: as comfortable as the bathroom could be. The cosmetics are local but still good.
6. The breakfast is on a top level: both international and Polish cuisine as various as you need.
The only issue I didn’t like at all was the sound isolation of the door: all the sounds from the corridor penetrate your room as if there is no door at all. Well, it could be no problem for those ones who sleep well, but not for me. The issue is that it is not easy to solve this problem as the total replacement of the doors is required.
There is an unbelievable restaurant of the local Polish cuisine next to the hotel: 200 meters to walk and it is another great advantage of this hotel.
Highly recommended for any occasions and I am sure that is is even much better in summer time as all the area is surrounded with fields and forests.

Great wedding venue
Visited the place to attend the friends wedding. It's a 30 min drive away from Lodz airport but located in a very quiet and peaceful area. The hotel is very modern and maintained to the high standard. The rooms are spacious, well furnished with comfortable beds. The Bathroom has fitted very spacious wet room style shower.
The Czarny Staw (Black Pond) is surrounded by large gardens which are very well planned and maintained. Offering lots of space to walk and also for other activities like football or volleyball. There is also a kids playground.
Nearby, in the separate building is located a restaurant (wooden built building), serving a wide selection of delicious and homemade food. Mainly polish cuisine is offered, dishes are well priced and plentiful.
The Czarny Staw is a great place to host various receptions and business meetings. It can accommodate up 7 various parties at the same time.
It was a very pleasant stay, thank you to the reception staff which was very hospitable and always happy to help.

Voortreffelijk restaurant met uitgebreide menukaart, heerlijk eten, in (te) royale porties geserveerd door vriendelijke medewerkers.
Waren hier 3x achter elkaar, wegens verblijf in naast gelegen hotel en geen moment eentonig. Heel gezellig ingericht met veel hout. Een Karczma.
