Excellent base for travels in São Miguel

We stayed in Quinta do Norte for several nights and made trips from Capelas around the island. It was the perfect base for our travels! Our room was clean, with great views of the North coast. The facilities are completely new, with a spacious kitchen and bathroom and ample parking space. The staff is very friendly and helpful - we were given some good tips for restaurants and things to see. Recommended!

Dog forced to live in his own feces

There is a dog kept on a very short chain crying all the time. He had no water and his feces were all over his place. This was truly heartbreaking. We were shocked on how a family member could be treated this way. If you love animals don't go there !

Keeping g dog on chain in aweful conditions

Behind the house, same property, there is a poor dog kept on the chain and in aweful conditions. Poor thing is crying half day and half night though. Had no water and was forced to live in his own faeces! I cannot recommend anyone supporting dog cruelty by booking this place. And I really hope the owners will either give the dog away or change their behavior completely. This was absolutely heart breaking!!!

Fiquei 4 noites na Quinta e o q posso dizer é q amei. Check-in foi feito vía WhatsApp e apesar de não ter conhecido os anfitriões, senti-me muito bem hospedada. O ambiente é acolhedor, tranquilo, limpo, sem barulho, vista maravilhosa da natureza, muito próximo do aeroporto e dos pontos turísticos.
Para quem deseja ficar muito bem acomodado, sem gastar muito com diárias e restaurantes, este é o lugar certo. A cozinha é toda equipada e podemos usar tudo o q nela contêm, até mesmo os mantimentos, q por sinal estão dentro do prazo de validade e outros são diretamente da quinta. Tem wifi, os WC, são bem cuidados, limpos e contêm água quente!!!
Super recomendo a Quinta do Norte (Norte Crescente) e deixo registrado aqui minha imensa satisfação com o local. Nota 10. Out./2022

Geen aanrader

Ok, het zijn propere kamers, maar het ruikt heel vochtig, de muren zien er ook zo uit. Veel vochtvlekken…
We zijn er 2 nachten verbleven, en hebben op geen enkel moment iemand gezien aan de receptie.
Wel goed: je krijgt via bericht uitgebreid uitleg met foto’s over hoe je binnen
Geraakt.
Had graag ook persoonlijk contact met uitleg over de plek gehad.
