Charming stay at Tiki Wasi Casa Boutique

The location and ambiance at Tika Wasi Casa was great! It was clean and colorful. We were greeted warmly and were immediately offered tea to help us combat altitude sickness. I enjoyed the fact that there were some birds in the yard and a wonderful lobby area where one could enjoy a cup of tea in the sunlight. Cusco can be quite cold at night, so I was happy that there were heaters in the room. Once I warmed up in the cozy bed, I had wonderful sleep and felt very rested. The breakfast was excellent.

Lovely family run hotel

We were booked in here as part of a trekking holiday and chose to stay on a couple of nights longer. It’s an excellent family run hotel with a friendly atmosphere. Staff are very helpful. The location is great in the San Blas area, just far enough away from the bustle of the main square but still lots of cafes, restaurants etc in walking distance. We were lucky in our room choice in that we had a great view over the city. There’s a nice garden to relax in with hammocks and other seating. Price is reasonable and felt very secure with locked gate and 24 hour reception. Hot drinks constantly available in common seating area.

Beautiful property but too cold

We were attracted by the beauty of the hotel, but unfortunately, the property is truly cold because of the "window frames" (if we can even call them that). The windows are open even when they are closed, especially the one in the bathroom. Drafts also come in from the bedroom, which makes the room truly freezing. The property itself is also very cold; they keep all the windows open during the day and during the night. Result: we both caught a cold.
The staff, however, is very kind; we asked them for an extra heater and an extra blanket, and they accommodated us. A mention for the very good breakfast.

Definitely recommended

Hugely friendly, very clean but don't underestimate the cold.
The breakfast is top notch and the tea you can consume continuously is pleasant. Good luggage storage system if you take a trip for a few days.

Read my review and it will be very clear

This is not the first time I have been received in Tika wasi and so I write this opinion based on several experiences but which are actually summarized in: 100% recomendable.
Close to the center, silent, with a good feng shui, its colorful environments relax the view and clear the stress. I like to sit in the courtyard to drink matte and admire the Cusco sky both day and night. Feel the fresh air and lie in the hammocks.
Kriss, Ivan, Juliana and Wagner at the front desk always looking forward to what is needed. Housekeeping Ingrid, Shalmely and Jenny, in addition to always having the smile on the surface while working, also know a lot about Cusco and give you tips without compunction. Finally Judith shows off in the preparation of food with a love like that of a “mammacha”.
In conclusion the Cusco experience begins and ends at TIKA WASI CASA BOUTIQUE.
