Excellent

I highly recommend staying at the Pelegrino Hostal in Cusco, to be honest it exceeded all my expectations. The location is amazingly you are just steps away from the main square. Breakfast was delicious, the best I have had so far in Peru, made to order and served to your table. Our room was clean and comfortable and the staff couldn't be more helpful and friendly. Excellent.

Great Hostel! Clean spacious! Yummy yummy breakfast. Great location! Open the door and the main squares 100 yds away

Great value! Best breakfast since we’ve been in Peru! Staff little English! But very helpful!
2 travellers, offered large bedroom, 2 large singles!
1queen size!
Clean linen and towels, toiletries!
En-suite shower
Just off main square!
Would 100 % recommend it!

An excellent alternative

An exceptional experience from the moment we arrived. The rooms were very comfortable and always spotlessly clean, which was a real pleasure after returning tired from tours. The breakfasts were simply the best, abundant and lovingly prepared. But what really stood out was the attention and concern of all the staff, who went out of their way to make our stay as pleasant as possible. Without a doubt, I will recommend this hostel to everyone I know, and when we return to Cusco, it will be our safe place to stay.

A 3 star hostel that treats you like a 5 star!

Clean, conveniently located, and comfortable.
This family owned hostel is located in the center of the square. We stayed one night at a historical convent hotel one night before coming here, but the exhaust from the cars were bad every time we stepped out. This hostel is located where cars cannot access, which means you gotta carry your luggage one block on a cobble road, but quieter, cleaner air, and a few second walk to everywhere!
The hostess cooks you a warm breakfast every morning with freshly made juice and fruits, warm bread and starts your morning the right way or pack you a snack to take on a road trip.
When I was struggling with bad air quality which induced mild asthma, the hostess prepared a warm tea and hot water to take to the room without asking, just took care of me like family. It was so sweet
The sheets were fresh every day, the room was immaculately clean, and they turned on the hot water anytime I needed it in the evening.
The laundry service was VERY affordable and done within a day.
I’d definitely go back to this hostel when I return to Cusco!

You won't regret staying at this place!

An excellent place. Exceeds expectations. The rooms are nicer than what you see in the photos. Very rich breakfast. Very special attention. Super recommended! Plus: Mrs. Maruja makes you feel at home, safe and well advised... You will not regret staying in this place!
