Good address for turtle observation
Good for turtle watching, large rooms with friendly staff. Dinner must be ordered the day before. In addition to the turtle beach, which you have to pay to enter, there is another smaller beach nearby where the turtles also come.

VERY GOOD - EXCELLENT
Very good stay. The house is very good and so is the room. It is a 10-minute walk from the turtle reserve, although you can also go by car and you will arrive in one minute, since both the hotel and the reserve have parking.
The dinner was VERY GOOD AND VERY BIG, 10 people could have eaten with the dish they gave me.
The owner was very friendly and he had a guy working with him who was also friendly, he helped me with suitcases etc.

Great value for monay
We decided to go to Ras Al Jinz to do the turtle watching there. There is a tourism owned hotel, which is really expensive. The Turtle guest house is literally 2 minutes down the road. The rooms were big and had both air con and fan. The owner was such a nice man and was happy to help us plan our days. The rooms are clean as well.
If you’re going to Ras Al Jinz, stay here it’s fantastic value.

Good stop over for turtle reserve
The guest house is just 500m down the road from the turtle reserve so perfect location if you want to see the turtles. The hotel is much cheaper than the actual reserve.
There's no breakfast available so I'd suggest taking your own. There is a tiny local restaurant that opens in the evening and we had nice fish and rice there. If you don't want local food, maybe get dinner from Sur on your way.
We had a large ground floor family room and it was great. Massive beds, good shower, great air con. There was a little outside space with chairs where my kids played while we waited for the turtles.

best value property near turtle reserve
The guesthouse is located about 500m down the road from the Ras Al Jinz Turtle Reserve, which also has a hotel on its property. Rate for the guest house is reasonable, room is clean, hot water is ample, and bed is comfortable.
Once you arrive, check in at the guest house, then drive another 2 minutes to the RAJ Turtle Reserve to pick up your group number for turtle viewing. Return at 8:30 pm and pray that the turtles show up. The turtle viewing costs 8 rials which is payable when viewing is guaranteed. There is also a morning turtle viewing session at 5 am which to me is a better opportunity due to less crowd.
