The hotel was clean, the staff were friendly and helpful. It's a great location in easy walking distance of waterfront .

Great location but parking was a major inconvenience. No parking at the hotel, not even an ability to pull up front and take out our luggage. Had to park at either a public parking lot for $50 or a hotel about 8 min away for $35.

Pros:
- Location was great and close to the city centrum.
- Friendly and helpful staff
- Breakfast included (if you're into that, personally I don't eat breakfast, so..)
- There's a lift! great if you're tired after walking all day (especially after the hill walking to the hotel)
- You could pick up toilet paper, towels, tea and such on the 3rd floor if you needed it.
Con:
- for a Dane the hotel was placed on a very steep hill (which gave you great workout, so I guess it's actually only a "semi-con")
- Location was great and close to the city centrum.

Hotel management showed no empathy
We booked this hotel with a premium room due to its central location but were quickly surprised by the total lack of empathy and assistance from it’s management. Two hours after booking this hotel we received a notification from FLYSAS that’s our flight was cancelled. This was less than 24 hours before the flight departure . I immediately contacted the venue and explained the situation and even while Booking.com allowed us to cancel for free. The hotel declined our request twice and said they wanted to be paid in full. We were not to blame for this cancellation nor did the hotel staff show any support or empathy for our situation. We tried to get a different flight in order to make it still but in the end it was simply impossible. Then I tried to ask for a voucher but this request they also declined. we asked for a settlement for a lower price which they also declined . Instead they charged us in full which is completely unreasonable.
Please avoid these thieves if you can. Ly advise? Book somewhere else and get an actual human treatment.

We are very sorry to read how upset you are. However, we would like to clarify the situation regarding your reservation.
As you mentioned, you booked your room in the morning, and your flight was cancelled approximately two hours later. Unfortunately, instead of contacting us immediately, we only received your message requesting a full refund at 8:00 PM, while your reservation was for the following day.
Given the timing of the request and our cancellation policy, we were unable to approve a full refund. Most hotels would apply the same policy under these circumstances.
For future trips, we kindly recommend purchasing travel insurance to protect against unexpected travel disruptions such as flight cancellations. We also believe it is unfair to leave negative comments about a hotel for circumstances beyond its control, especially when we were contacted so late.

In a quiet location in the centre. We had a lovely spacious studio room on floor 3 with a sitting room and separate bedroom. Apart from the air- conditioning being a bit too intrusive, we loved the room. We loved the view across the fjord to the Arctic Cathedral. The staff were all friendly and helpful. Breakfast was good but the breakfast room is a bit crowded if you don't go in early.
The outside of the hotel isn't very smart- looking but inside the lobby has a nice sitting area with coffee and cookies.
We would definitely stay there again if we could book room 312!
