A fabulous place!❤️

Wonderful place!❤️
The view from the windows is amazing!!! Around the mountain in a slight haze, a glacier visible, a slight noise of waterfalls. Fairytale!
We booked a house for two nights, but the breakdown of our car in Bergen changed our plans. Although we only spent the night there, but late dinner, breakfast and a great sleepover on fresh linen and upholstered beds in such an entourage left no one indifferent!
We didn't want to leave there!
Thank you very much to the hosts!
Definitely recommended!

Very good accommodation

The bungalow was very large was clean and had utensils to cook or I will choose again if I return to the area the bathroom floor was warm the views are great and have restaurant where you can book food the glacier is nearby

The perfect place to stay to visit Brenndalsbreen/Briksdalsbreen

The location was perfect for hiking to the Brenndalsbreen as well as Briksdalsbre trail. The cabin we stayed in was very spacious, very clean and well equipped. The bedding which we rented for a small fee was very crisp and extremely comfortable. We took advantage of having breakfast and dinner prepared by the hostess. The food was exceptionally fresh and delicious. One of our party has special dietary needs that were accommodated by the hostess.
Perhaps one of the highlights of our stay at Aabrekk Gard - Trollbu was talking with our lovely hostess and learning more about the history of this wonderful valley.

Fantastic surroundings, comfort, food and host. Just fantastic

We had a lovely stay, comfortable bed, fantastic food and surroundings.
Our host was lovely and provided a tasty dinner of salmon, potatoes and salad followed by a beautifully prepared breakfast with homemade bread, butter and jams the following day.
Just what we needed after a busy few days in Bergen and walking up to see the glacier.

Cute and Friendly

My husband and I booked this place because it was the closest one to the Briksdal Glacier. We arrived in late afternoon and checked in. Process was easy and the hosts were very informative and nice. We had the top floor of a little hut and beneath us was a separate family. Each flat had its own entrance.
Due to Covid, we had the complete upstairs to ourselves which included 2 large bedrooms, a bathroom and a refrigerator. It was also the place where extra linens cleaning supplies etc. were stored. My only concern was that the linens were not really put in a cabinet but out on open shelves.
The place was spotless and nicely decorated. No complaints.
Pros:
loved having a real refrigerator that kept our food cold
close to the glacier for quick access
breakfast was included and simple but very good
Great views
Cons:
Stairs to the 2nd floor were super steep!
