Weistad kafe og Hytter is not a hotel but it's so much better !
The price was good to book from USA, so that basically made our choice.And it happened to be so much better than we had anticipated! Our cabin for 4 people was nice and clean, with electrical heater, a set of utensils on a shelf was perfect for cooking and frying, an electric kettle was also a great thing to have for making early morning coffee..A small fridge kept our dairy products from the local grocery store . 2 bunk beds with 2 pillows and a down comforter each happened to be soft and comfortable for a good sleeping.. Crisp fresh linens and towels were for extra NOK100 a set, but later we found out that it's a general practice in Norway..The bathrooms and a shower were in a separate house, and hot water was unlimited and free, which doesn't happen everywhere ..Soap was provided .Everything was nice and clean. The place is perfect for those planning to hike in the Jotunheimen park and later enjoy a quiet rest and a relaxing sleep. Meals are also offered in the main building if you don't want to cook. Before leaving you have to clean the cabin and take out the garbage..We liked the owner, a quiet smiley woman, who tried to help us with a good advice and was so happy to know that we liked Weistad a lot and would definitely recommend it for future quests..And I do! It's ideal for hiking!...

Da non perdere assolutamente se siete in zona!
Consiglio a tutti di trascorrerci la notte e leggere il libro del hytte: il rifugio é dotato davvero di tutto. Non manca assolutamente nulla.
Appena fuori la capanna si trova un braciere per poter cuocere la cena. (Legna e diavolina messa a disposizione dalla struttura) minimarket appena fuori dalla struttura.
Di notte il cielo si illumina di stelle..atmosfera magica.. bosco a due passi per fantastiche escursioni. Personale cordiale e disponibile.

Hyggelig og stille camping hytter
Det var plasser til å sitte ute og en felles bålpanne til grilling. Rett ved Sjoa så man kan ta seg et bad.

Encantadora casa de madera
La que estuvimos nosotros no aparece en las fotos. Era para 4 personas.
Espacio verde alrededor de las casas con mesa para comer en el exterior.
Supermercado justo al lado.
Faltaría más luz en la cocina.
