Tent vd children was not allowed at the camper

Least campsite so far of our trip in Norway. Sanitary is clean but far too little for all camping pitches. 2 places to wash dishes. No hot water to wash dishes because the showers are in use, no wifi / sometimes limited wifi. Motorhome place is small, there had to be reversed in our place. This makes canopy difficult to set up because of a fence at the back. And the least point is that you are not allowed to place the tent for the children near the camper or caravan. They now had to stand on the other side of the road on a field of tents. Never experienced, according to owner should not be allowed by fire regulations. This is not correct in our opinion, is allowed within four meters of the camper.

Nice but smells strongly like cigarette smoke

The area was alright and the camping nice and clean, but our entire cabin smelled like someone had been smoking in there for years. I went straight away and informed the reception, who just said "weird since it isn't allowed to smoke" and informed me there weren't any other cabins empty to change to (which I understand). But these are smoking-free cabins, and since we need to bring our own bedsheets and towels, the smoke smell has now gotten stuck on everything including the clothes we had in the cabin, and will not come off even after a few days. That has really soured our experience and since those are the sheets we've had to use everywhere else we've camped on our stay in Norway, we have to sleep in the cigarette smell everywhere.

Nice, clean campsite. Unlimited shower time! :-)

We spent the night in a cabin. All cabins have space to park the car or motorcycle next to it. Inside it is clean and the beds are good. There is a small kitchen unit including microwave (maybe a combi microwave? I don't know), hot plate and fridge.
The bathroom is super clean and the showers are very nice. Plus: you don't have to buy a shower coin and there is no time limit on it. You can theoretically take unlimited showers. Great!

Reasonably priced cabin

We booked a room with a private bathroom because that was all that was available at short notice but we were entirely happy as the cabin was much bigger than those with shared facilities, had more windows and light, good décor and an outdoor undercover seating area plus entrance porch. Perfect for the heavy rain which we experienced here. The furnishings were good and the kitchen was well equipped with good bench space for cooking. The layout of the living area was compromised by multiple doors and a large sofa bed but the sofa was very comfortable to sit on, unlike many sofa beds. There were a few damaged items in the apartment which had no doubt not been reported to reception. Hopefully this will be corrected now they have been reported. Staff were helpful. Recommended.
