The hotel was affordable and great but they are no longer using Expedia which caused some complications but it was still a great hotel

Rooms need to be renovated

We stayed in room 324 yesterday. Location is nice and quiet but rooms are not that clean.Furniture in the room are quite old and not in good condition.Rooms need to be renovated.Breakfast is a la carte and not
many options to choose. We will never go back to stay there.

Good for staycation

Most of the rooms are old and the woods in balcony are decayed.
There are only 2 rooms renovated (325/326).
We asked for these renovated rooms but got one.
Unfortunately when we arrived, both renovated rooms are occupied. The staffs explained that there were errors in booking.
Finally they managed the customer to move to another room and we got one room.
We arrived at noon and told the staffs we will be having lunch but at 2 pm the rooms are not ready yet. The staffs hospitality is great.
Breakfast is below per.
The only attraction there is the incredible scene and cool weather.
Good for staycation.

Lovely Location on the top of a hill. Hotel very spread out, difficult to get around. Nice pool. Unfortunately none of our mobiles had coverage (Ooredoo, MPT or Telenor) until we drove down the hill. Unfortunately neither our television nor our fridge worked and the hotel was unable to fix or to move us to a different room

Excellent Service

The thing that stands out about Mount Pleasant is the quality of service and warmth of the staff. I’ve lived in Mount Pleasant for over a month. In this period, they have been extremely accommodating, making adjustments to my room’s furniture whenever I make requests or even on their own initiative. They have been helpful in aiding with the booking of buses from Naypyitaw to other cities as well as arranging taxis. I have also been touched by the attentiveness of the staff and little things they do, such as remembering my name. It is hard to overstate how good the service has been.
In addition, Mount Pleasant has great views of the city from the top of the mountain and is close to nature. Walks in and around the hotel can be particularly enjoyable and the sunsets are beautiful. The downside is that the place is far from anything else – a ride down the mountain to the nearest mall is about 10 mins. Because the hotel is in the mountain, insects frequently appear indoors.
