Come as a stranger, leave as a friend!

We stayed here for 3 nights end of September 2019.
We had such a great time here! Aljosa and his mom Liliana took great care of us, they were absolutely fabulous hosts and super friendly and welcoming. We were received with a welcome drink and a piece of delicious home made cake. We got a lot of tips for activities for both days of our stay. Very good Turkish coffee and some small thing to eat in the morning. Nice chats with both. A huge bag of laundry was done for a small fee. The apartment was very spacious, with sitting room, small kitchen, bathroom, bedroom, and a bottle of Montenegro produced wine. The apartment is basic, but very good. The shower for example was great. We had everything we needed and they made sure we got the absolute most out of our stay.
3 nights Durmitor is recommended. It is a beautiful area and having 2 full days is perfect. The lake and the mountains are very different from the typical Alpine mountain scenery. Very raw and impressive scenery. Zabljak is kind of a resort town, but nice nonetheless and the most convenient location.
Nothing that we didn’t like. Initially a minor thing of disappointment was that there was no possibility for breakfast, that people in other reviews were raving about, anymore. But we cannot fault them and the coffee and chats totally made up for that and it was very easy to get some bread or breakfast in the village at only 5 minutes walk.
Also, the price is a bargain!

A hospitable welcome assured...

We visited during a very hot spell and were very happy to have the use of the fridge and be in the cooler part of the building. The accommodation is basic but clean and tidy and while near the town and local amenities, very quiet. The outstanding Mr Sepic was incredibly helpful and friendly along with his mother and this truly made our stay a pleasure. We have travelled all over the world and rarely met people so welcoming and eager to ensure our stay was so excellent. The local lake and trips to two nearby mountain tops were exceptionally beautiful.
We couldn’t recommend this highly enough and found Montenegro to be way beyond our expectations.

Perfect hosts!

We had very nice stay for four nights. Room was clean and comfy, with shared bathroom - no problem, always clean and available.
Host Aljoša and his mother were the best, often invited us for coffee and chat. He's very knowledgable and had the best tips for places to see in montenegro.
We definitely recommend!

Fantastic!

A must go if you want to visit the Durmitor N.P. The hosts are incredible; they gave us a warm welcome and they were brilliant during our stay. We had alot of laughs with Aljosa and his mother. The breakfast they serve you is a 10 out of 10 breakfast. Local products, very tasty. If it's too much to handle, it is no problem to pack the remains for lunch when you go hiking for example. Aljosa knows where to go and knows the best spots in the region. Be sure to ask!
The double room is very spacious, the accomodation is in a very quiet part of Zabljak. You can walk to the restaurants within 5 minutes. Ask Aljosa wich restaurants to go to!

Very welcoming and helpful hosts

Alosa and his mother made us feel very welcome throughout our full stay. He is very knowledgeable about the area and gives lots of tips on how and what to visit. We stayed in the lower floor apartment and found everything in order and clean. Good quality mattress. Small kitchenette available. Shops and restaurants in the centre of Zabljak can be reached in about 10 mins. walk. Compared to the price of the accommodation, the price of 6€ per person for breakfast seems a little steep but it's a very honest price for the quantity and quality of food offered. Conclusion : all is great.
