Tranquil and Comfortable

The stay at Riad Maison Belbaraka was a pleasant one.
The meeting point is College 5, as cars are not allowed down that route. From College 5, walk straight ahead while keeping to the left. You should see an arch and a sign for the Riad. Continue straight down, past the shops selling water, until you reach another sign—turn left here. After about a minute, you’ll see another sign; turn right, then right again. Overall, it’s approximately a 4-minute walk.
You will be greeted at reception by Zakaria or Ismail, both of whom are helpful and friendly at any time of the day. The stay is comfortable, peaceful, and tranquil—an ideal escape from the hustle and bustle of the Medina. The housekeepers also ensure the Riad remains clean throughout your stay. The main entrance is always shut, providing added security and peace of mind.
The Riad does have a restaurant, but you also have the option of ordering food via the Glovo app or walking to nearby restaurants. The pool is small, and although I didn’t use it as it appeared cold, I’m sure it would be more enjoyable during the warmer months. One downside was that the heating in the room didn’t work properly—it was blowing cold air. However, the duvet kept me warm, and this likely wouldn’t be an issue in warmer weather.
Be sure to have cash available for the city tax and any additional purchases during your stay, such as water. Restaurants outside the Riad also prefer cash payments. ATMs charge a fee, so it’s best to withdraw what you need in one go.
As it’s easy to get lost in the Medina, I recommend purchasing a local SIM card with data at the airport to help with navigation, especially when finding your way to Jemaa el-Fna Square.
Overall, I highly recommend this Riad as it is central, comfortable, clean, safe, and—most importantly—peaceful.

Good accommodation and good staff 10/10

I booked a room for 5 days and I think it's a nice Riad. The staff took care of me very well. The staff were very friendly and helpful. Good breakfast every morning.

Impeccable experience, helpfulness and constant kindness, strategic location, guaranteed cleanliness, and really nice riad

Zechariah is the kindest person I have ever known, he made this trip impeccable! Clean rooms, assistnzs h24, strategic point. They listened to our every need.

Very welcoming and service minded the whole week, even checking with us via WhatsApp before we travelled and arranging a pickup service at the airport then meeting the driver and helping us down the three lanes to the Riad.
Once there it was nice and quiet, breakfast varied every morning and chilling on the sofa in the afternoon with a book was a great way to get ready for the evening.
Zakaria and team helped with booking trips and guiding to the best places to visit.

A Little Gem

We stayed for 3 nights. An oasis in the midst of the hustle and bustle outside. Authentic and well run. The young man on reception was friendly and helpful and we really enjoyed our stay here. Well located and ideal if you want the authentic experience.
