Great experience and stay!!

My sister and I have just returned from Marrakech, I must say that our stay in this Riyadh was wonderful. I must stress that Said was an excellent host at all times, attentive to our needs, helped us quite a lot and stored some bags to be able to go on a tour. The service was wonderful, the breakfast rich and coarse. The location is not far inside the Medina, which is good because it is not difficult to get there with google maps, it is close to many key points. We were worried about how chaotic Morocco could be and we were calm. Completely satisfied with our choice, I would recommend it to everyone.

Wow!

Absolutely fantastic accommodation. Really spacious and luxurious. Delicious breakfasts on the terrace. Hot tub in the evenings. Right in the centre of activity but peaceful at the same time. All the staff there couldn’t do enough to help. Would go again in an instant.

A stay in a wonderful riad

If you are visiting Marrakech, I highly recommend staying in a riad rather than a hotel for a more authentic experience. Riad Carllian, ideally located in the medina, close to Jemaa el-Fna Square, is a haven of peace. What makes all the difference is the warm welcome of Frédérique, who gave us valuable advice to enjoy our stay in Morocco. The rooms are not only beautiful but also spotlessly clean. Do not miss breakfast on the terrace: the panoramic view of the medina is splendid, and we even had the chance to see the majestic Atlas Mountains in the distance. A huge thank you to all the staff, especially Said for his availability and Saida for her delicious cuisine. An unforgettable stay!"

Wonderful stay in the heart of the Medina

A wonderful stay in a dreamlike riad! The rooftop terrace offers breathtaking views of the medina – a perfect place to relax after a day in the souks. The location is ideal: close to the lively center (Djemaa el Fna), but still quiet and relaxing. Breakfast we could enjoy on the roof terrace - a wonderful start to the day.
A special thanks goes to Frédérique, who took a lot of time to give us valuable tips and recommendations for our stay. Also a big thank you to Said for his helpfulness and kindness. We can highly recommend this riad!

A comfortable riad close enough to the main square

The staff were really friendly and helpful and they contacted us a few times before we arrived. They also helped us get into a nearby very good restaurant at short notice.
The breakfast was very generous in what was offered.
The room was comfortable with a large bed.
The riad was tucked away down a back alley off the Medina so it was a bit of a walk in.
The shower in the bathtub was a bit awkward and required you to step in very carefully to avoid slipping.
The curtain over the main door didn't pull completely across so people passing by could see you in the room at night with the light on.
