Great place in the medina

A great place to stay in one of the most beautiful cities in Morocco. Clean and with a small kitchen area. The host was very welcoming. No breakfast provided but there are places nearby. Easy walk to the Spanish Mosque and nearby ATM. We were on the third floor which would have been a challenge for some people. No lounge area but a terrace is available.

everything is good

Room is big and clean! the host is very nice, helpful and easy to communicate. a comfortable place with good view from the window.
but the stairs are a but narrow so hard to move big luggage up and down.

Underwhelming

Room is big but you can hear everything outside. Bed is okay, bathroom is clean but water gets everywhere.
The owner is nice and got us a cab for an early morning departure.
Overall, nothing special but clean and in a good spot.

Best Host Ever!

Dar swiar is in the middle of the media, close to everything. The rooms were very nice , comfortable , clean and had a window overlooking the Spanish Mosque. The roof top was perfect with a beautiful view. Abdhul the owner was out of this world from beginning to more then the end :) As soon as we arrived he was there to greet us, showed us our room and then came with us by foot and took us to a decent parking and showed us around, he helped us to buy a SIM card , suggested a good restaurant infact we went there 2 times out of the 3 nights. He booked us the best guide ever to visit Akchour. He let me use the washing machine. With abdhul we couldn't stop laughing every time we met. Every day he used to come meet us either for a coffee or for a tea . then to top it all of. 3 days after we left my husband got very sick and I had no one to turn to. I msged Abdhul and he immediately called me up after doin some research to tell me the details about a new hospital in midelt. Thankyou so much Abdhul ❤❤

Nice, clean room. Owner bummed taxi ride off of us

The room is new and clean with great AC (needed for summer). Comfortable bed and the kitchenette is nice. It is in a good location in the Medina. Cons of the room were that the pillows were really hard and it was surprisingly noisy at night. Several people talking right outside the dar until about midnight.
This place would earn four stars at least if not for the fact that the owner/manager bummed a ride for his sister from us. We arranged a fair priced, private taxi to Asilah through him the night before and had even discussed maybe finding another traveler to split fair with. In the morning, he asked if his sister could ride along as she needed to get to Tangier (not far out of the way). We said yes and were happy to have someone to split the fair with. When walking to the taxi, we asked about splitting the fare and the owner/manager basically wouldn’t discuss it saying we would be taken to Asilah first. As we drove it was annoying having someone taking the front who wasn’t even helping pay as my friend was getting carsick in the back and it was very warm on my side with the sun (poor AC). Had we had the whole taxi one of us could have taken the front. Or if the sister had payed a share (not even 1/3 just something) I would have been less upset.
