Pleasurable stay
It was an amazing stay at Bauhaus beyond our needs. You will be pleasured by the great hospitality with Toni lozom who upgrade our stay to suite deluxe chalet the room was so clean a small kitchenette to serve ur needs .Our sincerest hope for sharing that it helps anyone reading the review that Bauhaus is from the best choices.We really appreciate ur gd service Toni

A wonderful experience
i went two days to bcharre with my friends and we took a chalet in Bauhaus. the owner was very helpful he gave us all informations need it with the area. we visit the cedars of god and valley of quadisha and musuem gibran khalil gibran it was a great experience you fell very relaxed and like you are near of God. the chalet was very clean and comfy and i cant forget the decoration was superb, the heater let you feel like you are in summer everything in Bauhaus was fantastic and the price was very good and satisfied comparing for what you took and we search on many website we didnt find cheapest price better than bauhaus it's simplu best low price and best quality so it was a great experience. i strongly recommend it to visit bcharre and ofcourse stay in Bauhaus

The best price for the best place around
We spent 10 days in Bcharre area with a couple of friends in december . Bauhaus is an hotel, located close the city centre and 15 minutes by car to Cedars ski station, with many different accomodations for all budgets. We stayed in the first floor where there are the cheapest and best rooms of the area with common kitchen and living room. It was very clean. There is a big terrace with very nice view on the mountains. Tony, the owner, who is also hairdresser is very busy but nice and helpful man. He made his best to help us and gave us a lot of good advices to discover Bcharre's area.

Not worth the money
The hotel has both renovated appartments, which don't have a lot of charme, and are very expensive, and a guesthouse which is rather old-fashioned, which is a bit less expensive, but still not worth the money.
We have stayed in the guesthouse, and the common room has a link with all the bedrooms, so it was very noisy, because some guests stayed up late, and others left early, both of them making a lot of noise.
The rooms are not very clean either, and while we stayed there the toilet flooded several times during our two-day stay.
The hotel is located just outside of Bcharré, so it is still quite a walk to the center, but it has a good location for doing a hike in the valley

Expensive. Dated. Dirty. Avoid.
This is not a motel or a hotel, it is a hostel or a backpackers.
Rooms are like a typical hostel - a very low standard one - if a room is unoccupied you will have to pay the full price of the room i.e $56. Not for the bed but the room!!
It`s questionable whether the bedding is changed/clean.
The kitchen is a disgrace. Dirty. Old.
The bathroom is disgusting. Dirty. Old.
The owner will try to sell you sell you a "chalet" (pictured) at twice the price as he knows the "motel" is well below standard.
My advice. Drive on. Not much to see in the town anyway. Sure, nice location but Bauhaus is not worth the money.
