Best accommodation

Very good rooms. very nice rooms.
Very clean.
Located very well. Lungt and right near the palace and the harbour.
Very good service.
You get a lot of help with whatever you ask for, such as taxis, restaurants.
Bookings no other accommodation,

Poor cleaning standards

Room cheapish but whatever the price should be able to expect a certain level of cleanliness . The room was grubby . The bedding had stains on it. There were hairs in bathroom and in the bed. The photos depict it is located in a nice square . It’s actually surrounded by busy bars and lots of cooking smells from nearby restaurants permeate the building especially on the stairwell. Noise goes on until the early hours however the double glazing does help with this . Our room was extremely basic and small , nothing like any of the photos. Overall it was very disappointing!!

Great location, comfortable & clean

Excellent location, lovely old building with comfortable & very clean room.
The host was very responsive and met us outside after giving great directions.
There is a very convenient public car park right next to piano Noble rooms and a fantastic vegan restaurant next door which serves great breakfast (loads of other options next door if not wanting that also).
It gets quite lively in the square at night so is not the quietest area but the windows have great sound-proofing.
There are a couple of convenient supermarkets in the square and it is a short convenient walk into the heart of the old town (3mins).
(This is not an accessible building and is unsuitable for those with reduced mobility as there is no lift & a step over the door frame then down to enter and then up the stairs to the rooms.)

Good location to discover the city

The rooms are very well located. You can fully explore the city.
You can park your car about a 3-minute walk away. The reception will tell you where this ball is located.
The room was slightly smaller than expected, the beds were fine and the shower was wonderful. Breakfast is served at a different restaurant and is limited.

Some good things & some a bit disappointing

I think the first thing to mention is there isn't parking on site, it is nearby in public car park. We had filtered our accommodation choices for parking, so just be aware in case you also think you'd be parking on site.
The room was quite small but clean with a kettle and fridge.
Bathroom was spacious but had a sink without a proper plug, which is probably just one of those things no one else is bothered about!
We paid for breakfast included. This was a voucher for a nearby cafe but only offered a limited choice and small portions. Again, ok if you're not much of a breakfast person but we went to the cafe next door and just paid for a really good breakfast.
