Wonderful vacation with a high relaxation factor

The first impression of the hotel was great and we were greeted so warmly by Penny that we felt like we had known her forever.
We had room E 1 with a breathtaking view of the pool, the valley, and the sea. The room was sufficiently large and clean. It was equipped with two closets, various dressers with small drawers, stools, a refrigerator, a safe, blankets, a hair dryer, a television, as well as a shower gel-shampoo combo.
The terrace was large and equipped with a table and three chairs.
The pool is large, clean and very refreshing, the sun loungers comfortable. The
pool bar is very good.
The breakfast was very good and sufficient. There were two different types of bread, homemade jam, chocolate spread, cheese, sausage, boiled eggs, muesli, yogurt, tomatoes, cucumber, feta, olives, melon and a food warmer with changing items, including croissants and scrambled eggs at one point. The coffee was very good, as was everything else.
We ate at the hotel quite often in the evenings. The service is warm and here, too, we had the feeling that we had known them forever. The food is delicious and the price-performance ratio is absolutely right.
We walked to Pythagorio daily and took a taxi (€ 8) back. In Pythagorio there are excellent beaches and walking along the marina or simply sitting in one of the cafes was wonderful. The town has something very special.
From home, we had already booked a rental car through Aramis for two different days and were very satisfied. The car was delivered to our hotel and picked up there again. That went absolutely smoothly and uncomplicatedly.

Clean and basic and kind staff - amazing views !!

Very clean hotel and basic rooms which is perfect especially for what you’re paying. Staff are very kind and helpful, views from the sea view /pool rooms are amazing and from the pool itself are amazing .

Incur €1 charge if paying by card so you may want to pay cash or can hire a car.
Calm,quiet hotel and family friendly- pool is clean and breakfast is basic .you can get meals and drinks at the hotel .
No shops nearby . They have lovely restaurants in the streets behind the main harbour in Pythagorio with variety of meals and different in prices .
Very nice hotel to stay in and I would stay here again and come back to visit the island as everybody is very kind and welcoming.

Mykali hotel Samos

Fantastic family run hotel in Samos ! We were on the first flight back to the island from Manchester in 20 years ! Not sure why this has been the case but definitely our loss ! Hotel is situated around 30 minutes walk into the town down a hill either via the marina or the main road . A taxi back wax 8 euros probably a good idea after a few hours eating and drinking ! The hotel is great…special mentions to George his mum Penny and Alex on breakfast service . Rooms are regularly cleaned and the garden areas well maintained. We were on a bed and breakfast basis and the breakfast was great but don’t expect bacon and eggs…it was a lot more Greek…exactly what we wanted ! We alternated between eating in town and the hotel restaurant where the food was excellent. We would definitely return…YAMAS

A must stay place on this beautiful island

Well what can I say about this beautiful hotel!! Stunning location out of the city centre but with stunning views. It’s a short stroll into the town 40 mins max!! Rooms were very clean and maintain really well. Breakfast was delightful every morning. The Greek yoghurt was to die for. Plenty of choice and home made jams too. The ground are stunningly maintained with fruit trees, roses and herbs growing everywhere. The staff are just amazing too. Friendly, very helpful and go above and beyond. Big shout out to the house keepers and chefs. Penny, Isabella and Alex are the loviest hosts ever. Always smiling and cheerful. Will I stay here again??? YES in a heart beat. Actually booked for next year already 3 weeks this time.

A lovely pool area to sunbathe, good basic breakfast, lovely kitchen staff and waitress in the restaurant, food ok but a limited menu. Reception staff did not give me what was sent to hotel for me, either dishonest or gave to wrong person. Many steps up to my room but I did ask for a high floor. Road dangerous but lovely walk to marina and pythagorian. Taxis cost 8 euros to the town. Very quiet and peaceful.
