better than some reviews

Rooms upgraded bathroom small but serviceable. People friendly and accommodating Beds comfortable and was extremely quiet.
Facility is a full operating hotel with motel units at the rear so no street traffic. Restaurant attached had full service breakfast menu which was exceptional. The only draw back was having to register in the bar which could be intimidating for some people

Great find for future visits

The rooms are motel style behind the bar and beer vendor front facing Pembina Highway. To check in, go into the lounge, go to the bar and wait for someone to come to you. The person I talked to had my booking, paid for the room in full there, got my key and to the room. It was fast, first time I’ve ever got a room like that but it worked fine.
Since it is motel style, with a door to the parking lot, we could back up to unload which was nice. The room was recently re-done and was very clean. It had 2 queen beds, fridge, microwave, TV with cable, desk and chair. Shampoo and soap provided but bring your own hair dryer if need one. No coffee/tea in the room but provided at restaurant when open, 8 a.m. on Sundays, 7 a.m. rest of week. The restaurant menu looked good and there were many enjoying their meals and head one patron say “it was amazing” when paying so might have to try another time.
There is a Chinese restaurant, Riverview Garden Restaurant, about 2 minutes walk away for take-away and a Subway across the road also for quick eats. Also a beer vendor and lounge attached to the motel.
Overall, a good motel and would stay at again.

Great location

Stayed overnight while attending a wedding. Clean comfy rooms with fridges & micros.
Lots of parking and right on the edge of town, butt easy to get downtown or carry on a trip as the hwy. is only a block away. Good lounge & restaurant. Not fancy, just a nice local type inn with low rates.

Bring your appetite

Met a friend here about six months ago. Hole in the wall restaurant on the north side of the hotel called of all things the Nobside. Serve breakfast all day. Had Ukrainian brekkie with kolbassa, perpgies, eggs, and three pancakes for 9.95. Excellent. Great friendly service. Last week I popped in there for lunch and had I bison burger. It was loaded. With fries on the side it was 12.95. Another excellent choice. Strongly recommend. You will not be disappointed. They even sell Manitoba pickerel for 10.00 a lb. haven't tried that yet. Worth the drive.

Good motel and staff but shady patrons

Just needed a clean and budget-friendly place to spend the night while traveling across the country and I suppose this place was that. The room was more modern than I expected with a very comfortable bed, leather chairs, and clean bathroom and the price was right. However, as the room opens to the outside and there are no deadbolts on the door, we spent a good portion of the night on edge that some of the shady patrons from the attached bar/liqour store would decide to break in. We were startled awake at 6am to banging on our door which prompted us to get up and leave as soon as possible. Probably wouldn't stay again or recommend to my friends/family, but if you're only concerned about price/cleanliness then this place will do for you.
