Nicely furnished, pet-friendly affordable rooms VERY close to border crossing

Don’t judge by the outside if sign still broken from earlier storms! The owner Rob is lovely and has been waiting several weeks for the sign to be fixed. Rob turned on the AC before our arrival to cool the room down on a hot, humid day.
The affordable rooms are very nice with comfortable beds. Mine had lots of shelves. Nice to have a kettle which seems lacking many places these days. Lots of soft towels and a great shower!
The house to the left acts as the office. Ring the bell there if Rob doesn’t notice your arrival. Exceeded our expectations. Would stay there again.
Check out Nick’s Restaurant in nearby Prescott for good home-cooked meals -Greek, Italian and Canadian.

Comfy renovated motel with a view

A very nice and comfortable little motel. We were driving to visit family for Christmas and got caught in some freezing rain. We found this motel, called the owner and said we were 30 min away. He warmed up our rooms and made sure everything was ready for our arrival.

Like visiting friends

The owner is what makes staying at the Bridgewaters Inn so great. They go out of their way to make you feel like you are visiting family, instead of being away from home. We booked 2 rooms for work purposes. Rooms are spacious, clean and comfortable. The added bonus was the owners friendly dog coming to visit each morning to play! Thank you Rob!!

room canceled on us..

booked a room on booking .com for weekend of aug 30th 2018.
placed booking on june 2 2018
received and email august 28 that they are unable to accommodate our reservation.
what a load of crap and a terrible way to do business.
during conversation about why our reservation was canceled we were repeatedly told we (my wife and I) could cancel with only 24 hours notice and that we should understand.
during conversation we were given the impression our room was taken to accommodate some other longer term guest.
booked date was for the 30th of august 2018
left us with 2 days to find a room during red hot and blue festival.
in short we got screwed.

Passing through.

Good value for $ for a one night stay. Very friendly owner. Working on upgrading tired motel. Easy on off travel location on way to Kingston. Parking easy. Coffee in room provided, refrigerator, tv, microwave, clean room.
