A lovely property in a quiet location but still level walk close to the town centre and lake.
Wr arrived by train and caught the regular bus to the property( bus stop is 100 metres from the hotel).
On arrival the greeting was efficient but after that we had no communication with any staff other than the very nice and helpful gentleman who served breakfast. Breakfast was ok ( a wider choice of cereal would have been appreciated)and eaten at the communal table.
Our biggest gripes however were 1) the complete lack of storage in the room; other than a short hanging rail there simply wasnt any. The lack of any drawer space was particularly frustrating and 2) the air conditioning in the room which was on through the night, and over which we had no control whatsoever!

Great place. Good food. Wonderful location. Excellent helpful staff. Room not serviced every day, which was surprising but OK.

Very nice stay. We loved how comfortable the room was. And how close it was to the Pride activities. Breakfast was awesome.

Lovely B & B. The staff was very accommodating to anything we needed. Close to town and easy walking to everything.

I arrived around 7 PM, the entrance door was locked and doorbell did not work, I had to knock and bang on the door and windows during at least 10 to 15 minutes before someone arrived to open the door. The guy reacted annoyed and surprised and said that I should use the door code which of cause I did not have. After that he gave me an envelop with my name on in which I found the room key and the code for the outside door. There is no elevator and no assistance was given to help with luggage. It was a cold day and air conditioning was blowing cold air. There was no device in the room to monitor the air conditioning. I went back downstairs and in the lobby there is a bell to ring for assistance, this time it took more then 15 minutes before the guy showed up. He came to the room with the air conditioning monitor and explained that it could be very hot in summer, it was a cold spring day, we had to insist to have the air conditioning shut off. In fact we wanted some heating but he could not switch on the heating. There were also other guests asking for heating that evening. The rooms are nice but the shower gel and conditioner providers were empty. Later that evening I had to open the entrance door for other arriving guests who did not have the entrance code either, they had phoned several times in order to have the door opened without results. The hotel felt like an empty ghost place.
