This was a nice place to stay for the night. Conveniently located. Clean. Nice view of the harbor.

Comfortable with all the necessities

Love this place. Right on a working dock with fishing boats coming and going. We enjoyed early mornings with our coffee watching the activity . if you like that kind of thing it would be right up your alley. We rented two suites because originally there was to be eight people. Three ended up canceling, but this place does not offer a free cancellation so we had to use it, and we did not need all that space. The biggest suite would’ve worked for five people so I learned my lesson about that. The units were very comfortable and fully stocked. Everything we needed. It was about 10 minute drive to the Cabot trail. The town itself is pretty remote. Seemed like most places closed up by 7 PM.

Suites they are not

Not impressed. The accommodation is one small room with a bathroom, not a suite as you would expect. Furniture in room looked as though it were about to collapse and the towels in the bathroom were the worst we have ever experienced. Bed and linen just about ok. The accommodation is right on the commercial fishing dockside with giant refrigerated storage units humming away all night. Would not recommend.

portable washroom view

We rented the harbour suite room, but what we saw wasn't even an ocean view, instead, it was a garbage dump view. There was a portable washroom on the side and a truck parking lot. We wanted to move to another hotel, but they didn't give us a refund. So, be extra careful when you book this motel/inn. We wanted to have a vacation we could have many good memories about, but our stay here ruined it all for us.

Cabot Trail

Decided to visit the Cabot Trail this year a booked a suite for a night. When we arrived the lady asked if we wanted to see the suite first before taking it, we were so pleased and happy with our decision to book with them. The suite was large, very clean nice furniture, beautiful view, lots of parking and all the amenities of home. Would definitely stay there again and would definitely recommend to anyone staying in the area.
