A lovely break away.

Really lovely family run hotel, staff are friendly and helpful. Our room overlooking the garden was bright and very clean with a small balcony which had full afternoon sun, really beautiful. There is a mini bar but no tea or coffee facility in the room,but available at bar. The hotel food was excellent, fresh and delicious, lots of breakfast choice and 6 courses each night! We used the spa facilities, well worth the extra charge for massage. Robes and towels provided. There is also an ironing service at the hotel, very reasonably priced. The area is so beautiful, lots of walking and the views are magical. A final big thank you to George who looked after our every need in the restaurant.

Our third visit to this hotel which continues to provide a high level of quality all round.

Another 2 week stay in this excellent family run hotel. Comfortable, clean rooms, very good food and helpful staff all went to make this another enjoyable stay. The hotel is only a short walk from the centre of Seefeld which is a clean, attractive village only a short train ride from Innsbruck and the German border. We found all the staff efficient and pleasant but Soltze our waiter for most of the holiday and Alexandar the barman are worthy of particular mention. The walking from the house is varied with plenty of routes to choose from. Visitors have to be aware of the tourist tax of €5 a day per person which the hotels have to collect and pass on to the appropriate authorities.

Some very good staff. But some money grabbers.

Can you imagine spoiling a 9 year olds holiday. A kid who at every opportunity practiced his German politeness with staff. Checked out, and sat waiting for transfer, they served cakes/drinks; but the barman told us/him he couldnt have any because we had checked out; unless he paid. Get a grip.

Excellent, authentic family-run hotel

We had a wonderful week at the family-run (and staffed) Seefelderhof, which surpassed our expectations. Spotless, warm, comfortable, very quiet at night and an easy stroll into the village. The food was superb and our waiter George was friendly, funny and an excellent source of information. The view of the mountains as the sun came up was amazing. We were in the hotel at Christmas; there was a great family atmosphere with Father Christmas visiting on Christmas Eve. The 'lounge' area is small, and wasn't always big enough to accommodate everyone in the evening, but otherwise everything was excellent. We'd love to return.
