Kävelykadun alkupäässä sijaitsevaan Hotel Hochederiin kuuluu yksityinen wellness-alue ja perinteinen itävaltalainen ravintola. Huoneissa on taulu-tv ja kaapelikanavat. Gschwandtkopfin hiihtoalue on vain 400 metrin päässä.

Excellent experience.
My husband, our boxer, and I stayed at this hotel. Dogs are super welcomed and pampered. Comfortable, clean room with a splendid view of the mountains. The owners and staff were friendly and very helpful. Italian cuisine in our opinion of excellent quality. We will definitely return.

Unreasonable and rude
We already booked the superior room in Seefeld in February 2026 and arrived last week.
To our surprise, we were told that we would only receive the booked superior room the next day and that we would have to make do with a standard room today.
It can happen that there are problems, and so we accepted this for the moment.
When we then saw the room, which was dirty (I believe the previous guest missed the toilet (see photos), the glass to the bathroom as well as the shower screen were full of streaks) and the curtain was also torn.
After a complaint, we did receive a room, but it was VERY small and probably the last one that had not yet been renovated.
Surprisingly, there was not just a 4-course but even a 5-course dinner. We ordered a bottle of the white wine recommended on the daily menu. When we then realized that the bottle brought was a completely different one, we asked about it. The answer was that this wine does not even exist (why then on the daily menu?) and the one delivered is much better..... (!)
When we wanted to change rooms the next day, we were told that we had to stay in the standard room because everything was now fully booked!!!
After major intervention, we received a superior room for the second night, which, however, offered NO panoramic view of the famous Seekirchl (as advertised), but rather the view was of a tree.
When checking out, we requested a price reduction, since the superior room costs around Fr. 90 more. The only thing we received a reduction for was the local tax of Euro 20, which was waived for us.
I find this a great impertinence, but due to the prepayment, our hands were tied.
Never again Hocheder!!!!

Sufficient
Dated but cute room, with a renovated bathroom instead. We had a double room complete with a small sitting area and balcony, but we expected a more traditional menu, instead we had dinner with Italian cuisine, good, actually better than the Tyrolean evening. Breakfast the bare minimum. We expected a bit more empathy from the owner, but the waiter Diego compensated very well.

What was paid for is not being honored......
I know hospitality differently from hotels in Seefeld. Be it upon arrival, during the stay, or at departure. We were never guests. Staff in the restaurant hardly speaks German. What was advertised was a rich breakfast. However, it was a better continental breakfast. We picked up rolls at the nearby bakery. The 4-course dinner was actually a 3-course menu, with a choice from the menu of the in-house restaurant. Predominantly Italian dishes. We learned from the waiter that there are too few half-board guests in the hotel to offer a menu. We had our remaining evenings in other restaurants. The sparkling water advertised in the offer was missing from the room. The room and room size were as offered in the reservation. Only the cleanliness was so-so. The toilet paper holder was not repaired for 5 days. The reason was that the second cleaning lady was sick. What was advertised does not correspond at all to what we received. I can only positively evaluate the location of the hotel.

wonderful
We had the pleasure for the second time to spend our Christmas holidays from 20.12 to 27.12.25 at the Hotel Hocheder in Seefeld, and are thrilled again. The welcome from Mrs. Redi, the hostess and your family was very warm. Throughout the stay, she was always present, attentive and eager to accommodate everyone's wishes. You can immediately feel that families with children are welcome here and work is done with a lot of passion and warmth. The hotel is a bijou. The lodge is very nicely decorated, in chalet chic style. The other rooms on the ground floor also have charm and look very welcoming. From the terrace you have a beautiful view of the surrounding mountain panorama. Our room with a magnificent view of Seekirchl, the landmark of the region, was very large, comfortably furnished in alpine style, clean and well maintained and equipped with a modern bathroom. The hotel is in a prime location at the beginning of the pedestrian zone and close to the village center. The Olympic swimming pool, figure skating rink, sledging slope and cross-country skiing trails are located in the immediate vicinity of the hotel. The ski lifts can be reached in 5 minutes on foot.
The food in the hotel restaurant was tasteful, varied, high quality and prepared with a lot of love every day. Both the breakfast and the evening menu (we had half board) left nothing to be desired – regional, always with a Mediterranean touch, fresh and tasteful at the highest level. An absolute highlight was the gourmet 7-course Christmas dinner on 24.12. Many thanks to the kitchen team.
The staff at the hotel are incredible: Many thanks to omnipresent and extremely friendly Henri and Mohamed, to Nick, Carlo and other team members who were always very friendly, present and attentive and fulfilled virtually every wish. Thanks also to the very friendly cleaning team.
We felt completely at home at the Hotel Hocheder and would love to come back. If you are looking for beautiful surroundings, relaxation, enjoyment and a family-friendly hotel in Seefeld, this is the right place. We can recommend the Hotel Hocheder without restriction.
