Beautiful! Highly recommended
I was allowed to spend three days in this great 4s hotel on the long first weekend of October and felt very comfortable.
On the day of arrival I was warmly welcomed and, after an introduction, was able to get in the mood for the stay with a free beer. My room ( Studio Erdrauch, No. 118 ) was located in the main house ( Herb Room ) and proved to be a direct hit from the location. In the outhouses you have to walk a few meters before you reach the pool, sauna, restaurant. The large room was very appealing and modern and had a huge balcony with beautiful west views.
I spent three nights and could taste the culinary delights of this organic hotel accordingly. From breakfast, the afternoon meal ( free coffee until 4.30 pm ! ) to dinner, it was always delicious, sufficient and perfectly presented. Even the owners stopped by your guests at dinner. Great, so natural, warm and no wonder for me was that only regulars sat around it.
The spa, wellness, pool (3 in total) and sauna area in the main house, were also top. Again very modern, spacious and generously designed. There were also more than enough rest zones. Just a feel-good paradise. Of course, I also used the modern large gym, which was unusually open around the clock. Ideal for me as an early athlete.
If the hotel still had an underground car park, it would probably get 5 stars. So you stand in front of the hotel outdoors, which is also OK.
The remote location of the hotel in the valley is also a big plus. It is very quiet and you can really enjoy the mountains.
The service staff rounded off my stay. Always friendly, courteous and sufficiently present.
I can only warmly recommend the place and will definitely come back.

A dreamlike place
We were allowed to be guests of this beautiful hotel for a week. Everything just fit, we had a fantastic relaxing time. At first we were impressed by the friendly and relaxed reception. Over a glass of sparkling wine on the terrace we received all the necessary information and were then allowed to move into our room immediately, even though we had arrived well before the specified check-in time. We had chosen a room in the Waldhaus, a perfect choice. The equipment was excellent, the cosy corner on the glass front with a view of the Hohe Tauern immediately became our favourite place. Cosy beds, a great room concept, unobtrusive room service at the highest level - just beautiful. The wellness area is looking for its own, wonderfully beautiful infinity pool, a heavenly pool to relax in and a bathing lake that has a plunge pool character after beautiful sauna sessions in winter. Well done and well thought out. Various relaxation zone with different characters in sufficient numbers, a great lake sauna with mountain views, a top equipped gym, everything there and something for everyone. And in general, due to the generosity of the facility, one feels an inner calm. The service is also completely relaxed. Again, there are only good things to report; attentive, friendly, devoted, personal ! Thanks to all the hardworking hands for that. The food was also excellent from breakfast, through varied afternoon snacks to the evening 5 course menu; no integrated buffet evenings, just perfect. We come back to this dreamlike place, to nice people, dreamlike moments and a great team.

Never again
Pictures do not match, family room for 400 euros in which it stinks of stable. Boss absolutely unfriendly and no accommodating

Relaxed wellness holiday in great surroundings
We felt comfortable from the beginning: nice reception, very friendly staff in all areas; nice and well equipped rooms, all very clean; spacious bathroom with separate toilet even in the most affordable category; excellent cuisine and also the breakfast buffet left nothing to be desired; the wellness facility is 1A: many possibilities; very many resting places; comprehensive range of massages; indoor and outdoor pool and as a highlight a natural swimming pool; plenty of parking spaces available; price/performance is absolutely right and we can highly recommend the hotel in idyllic surroundings (we even saw deer from our balcony).

A cozy evening
We are more often and gladly at Sonnberghof for dinner and feel comfortable. The service is a good soul, the food is wonderful and the atmosphere very cozy. The conversions were well done.
