Schüttkasten Geras sijaitsee järvenrannalla. Thayatalin kansallispuisto ja Podyjin kansallispuisto ovat hyviä kohteita alueen luonnosta kiinnostuneille, ja alueen mielenkiintoisiin kohteisiin kuuluvat Znojmon Golgata ja Paratiisipuutarha. Yläaukio ja Ruttopylväs ovat myös vierailun arvoisia. Choir weekend
Especially the quick check-in, the friendly staff and the cleanliness of the rooms should be emphasized.
The food and hospitality were excellent, the restaurant is really recommended, vegan dishes are also offered here.
In summary, a very nice hotel in a quiet, relaxed ambience!

Once is enough!
There are 6 parking spaces in front of the hotel, and more can be found behind the hotel on a private access road, the breakfast offering is average, nothing special - not even the "Waldviertler Mohnzelten" could be found. As a hotel guest, being charged about 80 euros for dinner and an additional 4.50 euros for tap water is not a special service merit, the non-alcoholic drinks are more expensive than the alcoholic ones???
For 4 stars, there is still considerable potential for improvement!!

not good
The double bed had two mattresses that were almost 20 cm apart in the middle. So more like two single beds. The toilet was superficially clean, but quite dirty in depth (black deposits).
Breakfast ok, but much had to be ordered, The coffee machine was not emptied, so we had to ask the staff to let coffee down. Vegetables and cheese were empty, so we had to wait again. Water jugs stood there, but we had to ask again which mineral and which still water is. Breakfast was not ideal without staff who were not necessarily the friendliest either.
Price / performance ratio absolutely not good. For this room with breakfast 200 euros p night, simply unacceptable.

the tranquility of the surroundings counts, there is nothing more
the peace and quiet in the area is what counts, nothing more - constantly changing guests (1 night) make things rather uncomfortable
- the rooms are more like boat cabins with gaps
- the hotel does not offer any extras such as a sauna or pool, thus a quiet yoga meeting place for inactive minds
- the staff is often very nice, the service has a lot of room for improvement
- the rooms are clean, the breakfast buffet corresponds to the Austrian standard of 2023, but often with poor pastries
- at night the natural stone entrances to the parking spaces are unlit and you feel your way towards the hotel with the cell phone lamp
conclusion - pure peace and quiet on a low level - the area also offers nothing except great terrain for cycling - still a beautiful part of Austria -
