Excellent dining restaurant with affordable lunch menus

Excellent lunch menu in the restaurant Muhlbachl and nice and friendly staff.Only downer: there is no weekly-daily menu, which you can view digitally (Internet,facebooketc) and has to cumbersome always call and ask what is available today

Completely successful stay

The Rettenberg is really a hotel that offers its (at least!) is worth 3 stars. All the "necessities" are there and work (beds, internet, showers, wellness area...), but most importantly: you feel as a guest and not as a "paying cattle" like e.g. in the hotel in the Allgäu, where I was just before. The boss is always there and takes care of, the staff is very attentive, the working atmosphere is very good.
The breakfast buffet was one of the best I have ever experienced... partly because of the little things. For example, you can get the coffee either from the machine or from the kitchen. There are not only the baking croissants offered everywhere, but local crusty kipferl. The fruit salad is canned, but next to it is fresh, sliced fruit. The only pity is the lack of homemade jam, so I can't really understand the boss's hygiene concerns.
The wellness area is also worth mentioning, everything is put together with love, even a small (not visible) garden for the sauna guests is not missing. The water in the pool (and especially the air in the area) is warm enough, even for cooler days. A wish dream of mine personally would only be a small whirlpool with 36-38 degrees......but this is probably unrealistic, because too costly.
Overall - I would come back immediately, I felt very comfortable here!

TOP Hotel TOP Staff

The hotel is very nice, I find the decor very cozy and it has neat rooms.
The food was really excellent .
Breakfast was also very extensive.
The staff is incredibly competent and maintains a super respectful approach to guests.

Super good cuisine

As part of a christening party, we were guests at this restaurant of this hotel: not only was the food excellent, we were very positively surprised at the pronounced friendliness and patience of the waiter, we can only recommend this restaurant!

Comfort and courtesy

Super comfortable bed, soundproofed room and exceptionally rich breakfast. Here you will find both sweet and savoury.
The staff is very attentive to the needs of customers.
The room was very spacious and clean and complete with all the necessary accessories for a peaceful stay.
