Simply a great, uncomplicated vacation with relaxing days.

The apartment was furnished in a very modern and clean style.
The beds were comfortable and large.
Everything was provided, and if you need anything, you can simply ask the hosts, who are very eager to help you.
It is exactly as it is in the pictures.
The hosts are very friendly and accommodating.
Check-in is uncomplicated, they ask about your preferences for breakfast, and everything is without an extra charge.

Not recommended.

Room okay, manager impossible, forces guests to pay the full price in cash upon arrival. Card payment would have been possible with a 30 percent surcharge per room. Breakfast very meager; when inquiring about eggs, an immediate additional charge of €5 per person was required. Upon inquiry about whether one can get rye bread, the owner's response was, "I can also serve you golden spoons, and I am not a fortune teller." In the so-called 4-star hotel, one enjoys breakfast on plastic garden furniture. The description of the hotel does not match the facts.
Such a shame for this beautiful hotel.

A place in Latschach to be avoided

We had booked and confirmed a three bed accomodation at the Waldschlössl in Latschach but when we arrived at the Guest House, there was no room left. After telling me that there had been a mistake and promising us another room at another Guest house with the same quality level, I agreed to cancel booking with no penalty. But arriving at the other location, there were no vacancies. When calling the manager of the Waldschlössl and asking for support to find another place to stay, the line was cut. So just be aware of the non-responsive and arrogant management of the Waldschlössli that does not honor a binding reservation via booking.com. This is clearly to be considered a breach of contract that should not happen in today's business world and I will not accept. An extremely unpleasant experience I would love to have missed.

Poor staff, poor food, non smoking room which s stank of smoke

I arrived at this property on the day I had booked for and was told my
the owner that I had to cancel my reservation through booking.com, otherwise she
would make me pay about 20 euros more than the initial agreed price through this website. As there was a language barrier between us, I felt like I had no choice other than to
go ahead with what she wanted and she actually made sure that she
watched me whilst I cancelled the reservation. By doing this, she therefore avoided paying
any commission to booking.com and I missed out on my Quidco cashback. The room that we stayed in stank of smoke, which wasn't
very pleasant for two non smokers (it was advertised as a no smoking room)and although advertising a sauna and
fitness centre, we wouldn't find them anywhere and they were certainly
not shown to us. When we asked the other manager, he just told us they
were down the road (presumably at a local spa).
Although we had booked for breakfast, we didn't eat any of it. There was
hardly anything on offer and what there was was not great- 2 hard bread
rolls were left on our table along with some cheap meats and cheeses. We
could help ourselves to jam and one type of cereal and that was it. The
manager had prepared some hot chocolate for me, but hadn't thought to
ask what time I would be going to breakfast as it was stone cold by the
time I arrived. Having walked straight out of the breakfast room without
touching a thing, we went back to our room only to find that the door
was open and that the manager was in there fiddling around with things.
She didn't even apologise when we walked in. Not a happy customer.

Waldschlossl

Stor, rymlig lägenhet för 6 vuxna personer. Bra med utrymme och fullt utrustat. Minus för mängder av katthår bakom säng och en katt som kom in i lägenheten och kissade på ett lakan. Boendet bra men inget för pälshårsallergiker
