Family-run since 3 generations, the Hotel Lammwirt in Jerzens in the Pitztal valley occupies a traditional Alpine-style building. It offers a spa area and fine local cuisine. A free bus brings you to the Hochzeiger ski and hiking region.

Bad rooms
The bed is simply a couch and is much too thin.
Hotel in general I haven't looked at this yet but room is the purest disaster.

Eine Couch wird eigentlich nur für Kinder angeboten.
Wir sind verwundert, da alle Matratzen erneuert wurden.

Successful all round!
The rooms are a bit older but absolutely clean and very well maintained. You can tell that a lot of importance is placed on cleanliness here.
Also the mattresses are fine, we slept very well and were able to recover well after a day of skiing.
Of particular note is the exceptional friendliness of the entire team. You felt welcome and well looked after from the beginning.
The buffet- both morning and evening- was excellent. A wide selection, all fresh and very deliciously prepared. Our special requests (vegan) were taken into account with warmth.
An absolute highlight is the flexibility of arrival and departure. It’s just great not to be tied to a fixed day of the week, but to be able to plan individually.
Parking spaces are ample.
We would love to come back and can only recommend the house.

Vintage Couzy Hotel with Delicious Food
As for the hotel service, the staff is quite friendly and the space was very clean all the time. We were just a bit disapointed with the decor, it felt like we were teleported some 50 years back in time. The furniture could really use some renovations.
Either way, the best part for us was definetely the food. The breakfast starts at 8 am, it was always fresh and quite varied. As for dinner, it begins at 6.30 pm, you can have a starter buffet (mostly pick from a wide veggie selection). Then, some days they had fixed 3-course meals (soup, main dish and dessert - often traditional Tirolese food), which you could chose the day before. Some other days, they had thematic buffets, such as "Grill Buffet" or "Italian Buffet". Everything was incredibly tasty every day of our stay. The only complaint we have is about the drinks service, which are not included in the meal. Some days, there was only one waiter for the entire restaurant, so ordering and paying for drinks often took long.
Lastly, the price-value here is great and we really enjoyed our stay. As such, we would definetly return, if the opportunity ever araises again!
