You can take a walk and explore the neighbourhood area of the hotel. Places nearby: Freizeit Arena, SPAR Ennemoser and Olympia Sport and Congress Centre..Spend an evening in a nice atmosphere of the bar. You can stop by the restaurant. If you travel by car, you can park in a parking zone.

Wish we had stayed longer!

Hotel Alpenblick is nestled in the Austrian Alps, just outside of the small town of Imst. It was such a peaceful location and easy to access using GPS. We received a warm welcome from Manuela who owns and operates the property with her family. Our rooms (one double and one single) were on the second floor next door to each other - both were clean, comfortable and very spacious. Views from our balcony were breathtaking! After checking-in, we made our way to the bar/restaurant and enjoyed a couple of local beers out on the terrace. It was such a relaxing evening.
After a sound night's sleep, we enjoyed breakfast in the restaurant. The buffet included cold cuts, breads, pastries, cereals, fruits, yogurts, etc.....plentiful! Manuela made her way to our table and we chatted about the area. We were heading to Zugspitze but she recommended we wait a while for the clouds to lift. We delayed check-out as long as possible....our only regret about our stay is that we wish we had planned a longer visit. We hope to return one day!
Suggestion: If you plan to visit Zugspitze, you may want to consider ascending the Austrian side via the Tiroler Zugspitzbahn (located in the town of Ehrwald). It takes only 10 minutes to ascend giving you more opportunity at the summitt if you're in a time crunch. There was a cafeteria at the top, so we purchased some lunch as we waited on mother nature to lift the clouds. Unfortunately, it never completely cleared; however, we were treated to some beautiful views on the descent.

To avoid!!!

3 nights traveling with an operator, the rooms occupied in the annex are very far from the comfort of those visible on the Inn website. No air conditioning, no elevator, not comfortable, not renovated for many years! I wish you good luck......

Perfection is in the imperfections

A hotel I've visited many times with my parents, this was the first time I now got back as a parent myself. This 2nd generation, family-run hotel is still amazing good quality when you consider the value you get for your money, however basic as it may be. Add to that the typical Austrian "Gemüttlichkeit", nice food and an unparalleled desire to make your stay their center of attention, and you may already guess this will not be the last time they've seen me at Hotel Alpenblick!

Pretty views, nice folk, rooms need updating

Stayed here overnight with my husband's daughter and grandson. We chose the hotel because they were motorcycle friendly according to trip advisor reviews, but though they accommodated our bikes, motorcycle parking was limited.
We had two rooms that shared an adjoining balcony. The rooms were clean, we had a beautiful view, the folks that worked at the hotel were very kind and patient with our grandson.
The food was very hearty, typical home cooked style, Austrian fare.
The price for the hotel was good, but the rooms could have used updating, particularly the bathrooms which desperately needed updating, as they were tubs with shower attachments that you had to hold by hand, not stand-up showers. For the price we had better rooms on our trip.

Very nice surroundings, friendly service! Great tour to start! We spent six days in the hotel. A buffet breakfast is plentiful and varied. The typical Tyrolean cuisine dinner served up mostly. The staff is smiling and friendly !!!! The room and the hotel is clean (I'm sensitive to this), I was not disappointed. I recommend for those who like to relax, go hiking in beautiful surroundings. Real Tirol!
