Excellent value for money

Great value for money. They charge the cheapest rates in Stresa probably to make up for the shared bathroom. Two bathrooms on three bedrooms. Quiet location, we slept very well, close but at the embarkation of the Borromeo Islands. Convenient street parking. Clean friendly owners

Lousy customer service!

My review is based only on the customer service.
Long story short, I booked a room and kindly asked if I could charge my electric car, paying for the service, not free, at the accommodations socket. Why? Because there aren’t any super charges in the area. I always charge the car at the accommodation, when there aren’t any supercharges in the area and every host understood and helped me by letting me charge the car at the location, paying for the service.
After asking kindly this host, he/she tried different approaches/reasons why I couldn’t charge at the location, for example: the electric system isn’t powerfull. I kindly explained that it doesn’t need to be ..
What bothered me the most, was the invitation to cancel my reservation.
Is it that hard to say directly that you won’t allow it?! Not wanting/allowing, I could have understood and that would have been the and of the story, not inviting me to cancel the reservation through booking!

Great experience

After a warm welcome from our hosts, we were shown our rooms—each clean and tidy with a fantastic hilltop view. We had a wonderful stay, and did not encounter any problems, but I got the impression that any issues would have been quickly and efficiently resolved. Everything was clean and the terrace was very spacious. It would be a pleasure to stay here again!

Good place to spend a night at Stresa

Super host, super clean place, we really enjoy spend the night there ! Fully equiped with a beautiful view on the lake. I highly recommended !
You also have your indépendance with own key and feel free to go out and come back whenever you want to !

Host refused to return money after announcement of the coronavirus lockdown

The host of this hotel refused to return money for our booking after the begining of the coronavirus spread in the region. We kindly asked him to return the money, however he rudely refused us and told us that we could come. After the official announcement of the total lockdown and termination of any flights to the country we asked him again, as arriving to the country was impossible for anyone, still he did not express any reaction to our request. Now, as I promised him to make his behavior known to everybody, I am writing here about such unreliable and rude behaviour of the host. So, I don't recommend to trust him.
