Tranquility and relaxation

Beautiful solution for a vacation in tranquility. Structure at the gates of Specchia. Very, very quiet with a beautiful pool, a garden rich in magnificent plants, and independent cottages. The owner Angelo and his wife (who makes delicious desserts) are two people from another time! Polite, kind, and helpful. They made us feel not like customers but like guest friends. An infinite thank you to them for this brief but intense experience.

When the second is better than the first

The second is better than the first... returning is beautiful, let go and relive the emotion perfecting it in an experience that strengthens the awareness that the choice is right ... by the atmosphere of the night silences or the first light of dawn in a location where you feel exclusive without contiguity except to share breakfast with some guests to tell and exchange opinions and beliefs about the magic of Mulicchi.
I was thinking of a criticism to help the structure to better services ... I just have to say that for the second time I can't think of anything

Secluded relaxation pool in Salento

We have been going to Salento for many years, this time to Mulicchi – our expectations were high according to the reviews.
Plus points:
• Very quiet location with beautiful views
• Spacious complex with lots of privacy (each unit with its own terrace)
• Clean, functional rooms
• Nice pool for relaxing and swimming
• Weekly Salento dinner and optional “salento box” – both very delicious
• Dogs are welcome
Potential for improvement or not quite ideal:
• Directions somewhat adventurous, paths to beaches and cities relatively far
• Equipment rather simple, fridge small and minibar very expensive (e.g. Coke EUR 3.50)
• No coffee utensils, breakfast only from 8:30 am – tedious for early risers
• Many burrs on the premises (problematic for long-haired dogs)
• Friendly but unwarm welcome – we would have missed small gestures, such as a water on arrival or a birthday greeting
Conclusion:
A very nice complex with great peace and privacy. However, we lacked the special warmth we are used to from Salento – which made us feel more like tourists than guests.
